CASE STUDY

Wireless Point to Point Link [WAINUIOMATA PHARMACY]

We supported the Wainuiomata Pharmacy team join two Pharmacies into one location. This new location is close to Wainuiomata Medical Centre and the Pharmacy wanted to offer a gift to those who visited the Medical Centre. The gift being free WiFi! However, it wasn’t only a gift for visitors to the Medical Centre. Wainuiomata Pharmacy were also interested in leveraging the free WiFi as a means of marketing and promoting their business.

Wainuiomata Pharmacy approached us for a solution and we put our Consultant Keiran on the case. Using their current unlimited UFB (ultra-fast broadband) connection, Keiran proposed a wireless link to the new Medical Centre. This involved a one off install cost then a small fee for Think Concepts to then manage the wireless link.

Since the installation the Medical Centre has allowed the Pharmacy to put up a poster with the Pharmacies details and marketing on the WiFi sign in forms.

Site Move [SPIDA MACHINERY]

Think Concepts recently coordinated a site move for Spida Machinery, from a leased space to a purpose-built engineering and manufacturing warehouse. Spida employs a number of CAD professionals, engineers and inventory specialists to design, manufacture and deliver house-framing machinery across Australasia.

Part of the move was to bring their loosely-fitted equipment into a single cabinet capable of delivering all needed services including network switching for data, power over Ethernet for phones and wireless access points and backup power for their central server and storage.
