A FLEXITANK is a soft, lightweight, polyethylenebladder for a volume between 12.000 to 24.000liters. FLEXITANKS are used for the transportation ofnon-hazardous bulk Liquid cargo, in a standard 20 ft.dry- container.

The FLEXITANKS is a “Cost-Effective TransportSolution” for non-hazardous liquids, includingcertain chemicals, wines, food oils, juice and fruitpulps. Generally the FLEXITANKS is used only oncebefore it is disposed of or recycled. Compared to theISOTANK this solution avoids costly cleaningprocedures, inventory and relocation of equipment.

A barrier is used to protect the product fromexternal factors that may alter the product´s originaland desired condition. In case of longerunprotected exposure, the product tend to get intobalance with ambient conditions. This means theyabsorb / release properties of / to the externalambient. Barrier films are introduce to theFLEXITANK to reduce this exchange or process.

Typical analyzed properties for barrier films are:

• Water vapor transmission rate (WVTR)• Oxygen transmission rate (O²)• Aroma Barrier properties (each specific aroma

must be individually analyzed).
