HPTHPT radially split barrel casing
pumps are specifically designed
for boiler feed applications in
thermal power stations, mainly
coal fired. The pumps are opti-
mized to provide high efficiency
operation over an extended pe-
riod of time thus reducing operat-
ing and maintenance costs.
Pressure 450 bar / 6525 psi
Temperature 220 °C / 430 °F
MSDMSD multistage pumps are
mainly used as boiler feed pumps
for combined cycle power gen-
eration applications. The broad
range of standard hydraulics and
mechanical design options en-
sures optimum fit to customers’
duty requirements, using proven
pre-engineered solutions.
Pressure 300 bar / 4350 psi
Temperature 200 °C / 400 °F
GSGGSG radially split, barrel cas-
ing pumps are used in boiler
feed applications of steam and
combined cycle power plants.
Their design is optimized for
synchronous speed direct
drive applications thus avoid-
ing unnecessary and expensive
construction features. Their full
cartridge design makes the most
of the compact Sulzer Twistlock
system of barrel closure. A back-
to-back option is also available.
Pressure 300 bar / 4350 psi
Temperature 425 °C / 800 °F
Boiler Feed Application
CPCP radially split barrel pumps
are used in combined cycle
power plants. They are particu-
larly suited to low specific gravity
applications where the back-to-
back design and center bush
provide natural axial balance and
additional shaft support. These
pumps also utilize the Sulzer high
temperature Twistlock design.
Pressure 425 bar / 6250 psi
Temperature 425 °C / 800 °F

MDMD pumps are horizontal, radially
split ring section multistage pumps
of modular design. MD pumps
are suitable for pumping clean
or slightly polluted, hot or cold,
chemically neutral or aggressive
liquids. These pumps are primarily
designed for power applications,
i.e. boiler feed and condensate
services in power plants.
Pressure 290 bar / 4200 psi
Temperature 210 °C / 410 °F
HZBHZB pumps are designed as hot
water boosters for high energy
boiler feed pumps in thermal
power plants. Their design is
optimized for pumping hot water
with relatively low NPSH avail-
able. The rugged design ensures
the long term reliable operation.
Pressure 48 bar / 700 psi
Temperature 220 °C / 430 °F
MEME pumps are designed for
boiler feed applications in both
industrial and thermal power
plants. Suitable for high speed
operation, the modular con-
struction allows the pump to
be easily optimized for individual
applications.
Pressure 400 bar / 5800 psi
Temperature 210 °C / 410 °F
Boiler Feed Application
Booster Application
ZEZE single stage, overhung pumps
are designed as booster pumps
for smaller industrial power plants
and for auxiliary services.
Pressure 60 bar / 870 psi
Temperature 425 °C / 800 °F

SJMSJM mixed flow pumps are rug-
gedly designed for a long life time
operation in a wide variety of ap-
plications. The basic components
of head, column pipe and bowl
assembly are combined and cus-
tomized to match individual duty
needs. In addition, the standard
range of material options ensures
the materials of construction can
be matched to individual installa-
tion needs.
Pressure 18 bar / 260 psi
Temperature 50 °C / 120 °F
SJP (CEP)The SJD (CEP) range of vertical
pumps is ideal for applications
where NPSHA is limited. The
pumps are used in a wide range
of applications ranging from
simple industrial booster pumps
to high pressure condensate
return and heater drain pumps in
power plants.
Pressure 43 bar / 680 psi
Temperature 100 °C / 210 °F
SJTThe SJT vertical turbine range
offers incredible flexibility due
to an extensive range of stan-
dard features. These include oil,
grease, product or flushed bear-
ing lubrication, sealing plans for
all liquids, above or below ground
discharge and a wide range of
materials of construction. In addi-
tion, SJT pumps can be supplied
to conform with ASME, ANSI,
