FEES AND REDUCTIONS70% Fee Reduction: If you receive Incapacity Benefi t, Disability Living Allowance, Carer’s Allowance, Attendance Allowance or you are an unwaged dependant of anyone receiving one of the above non-income based benefi ts you pay 30% of the full course fee.

100% Fee Reduction on Examination and Qualifi cation Courses: Courses leading to a qualifi cation are free if you receive Job Seekers Allowance, Pension Guarantee Credit, Housing Benefi t, Council Tax Benefi t, Income Support, are an Unwaged Adult Dependant of those on income based benefi ts or Job Seekers Allowance, Working Tax Credit (conditions apply, contact the Enrolment Team for details) or are 16 to 18 years old and NOT in full-time education or training (conditions apply, contact the Enrolment Team for details).

Evidence of entitlement to these reductions is required at joining (photocopies not acceptable). Courses are available at the stated fee to all adults who have been resident in the UK/European Economic Area for 3 years and who are not full-time students at school, college or university (for adults in these categories the fee will be 3 times the stated amount to cover the actual cost).

We are also offering 10% discount on most examination and qualifi cation courses – please check at enrolment!

Learner Support Fund:This fund is available to help learners with course costs. You may be able to apply for help with Leicestershire Adult Learning Service course/exam fees, child care, transport, books and materials. If you are on a low income you may be eligible for “Threshold” funding for up to 50% of the course fee.

Additional Support:If you have a disability or support need we will do our best to provide extra help and make classes and learning accessible to all. Please speak to staff about your particular needs.
