Last year, we invested in transforming the central Boulevard into a vibrant food and drink destination. We can now offer you a selection of these spaces for private parties, during your event or after hours, for meetings or networking, cocktail receptions or dinners.

Transform your event with a River Cottage twist.
The upstairs mezzaine area of our River Cottage Deli is where your guests will enjoy delicious dishes created with fresh, seasonal produce and a tasty River Cottage twist!
Celebrity chef Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall and his team
have created a menu that includes hot and cold, fully organic,
deli-style dishes, which can be served canapé style or as a
sit-down offer.
River Cottage is all about gathering the finest ingredients,
nurtured and respected all the way from the farms and
producers that supply us, through the kitchen, to your plate.
We believe the quality and provenance of our meat is second
to none and, as ever, we’ve gone big on the best seasonal veg.

Located towards the east of ExCeL’s boulevard, E16’s mezzanine lounge provides a stylish, contemporary space with an abundance of natural light for up to 120 guests, as well as a fixed bar.
The menu can serve anything from big bowl salads to
hot dishes, or speciality patisserie made in-house at the
E16 Bakery, to the recipes of our own ex-Le Gavroche
Master Patissier, Pascal Betesta.

A happy hour spot beforeyou head home.
Located at the west entrance of ExCeL, the Pyramid is hard to miss. The glass pane interior, shaped like a pyramid, is designed to let your guests look over the historic docks whilst enjoying a drink or two.
The Pyramid offers an array of craft beers, wines and spirits
alongside a menu of gastropub classics, in a space ideal for
seated or standing events of up to 200 guests. An ideal place
to to watch all the important games of the season.

Why not extend your party to our in-hall areas where we can
offer you blank canvas spaces to put your own stamp on, with
the opportunity for large number of guests to stay on to socialise
and network at your special event. Our talented team of chefs can
come up with a bespoke menu to your budget, based around one
of our stellar brands, or to fit with a particular theme.
We will be happy to include company branding as part of your event

Our food and drink
We source British meat, fruit and vegetables 90% of our seasonal fruit and vegetables comes from farms in South East of England
We have an on-site bakery at E16, where our team prepare fresh pastries daily – including our famous butter croissants
We have a smokehouse for our ownsmoked salmon, which we use in our salads and sandwiches at River Cottage Deli
All our tea and coffee is Fairtrade
Our hospitality team has up to1,000 members
For one of the events, our chefs served over 200,000 portions of food in 12 continuous days with a different menu each day
We donate surplus food to local charities such as Sheldrake Close, Residents Group and Newham Foodbank
