Dumbing it down...

1. Get started. Sounds silly, but a lot of people WANT to do online marketing, but never start.

2. Learn and apply correct principles (become a great student!)

3. Persist and course correct until you succeed. It almost NEVER happens just how you think it will.

Philosophy (Good thinking)• Choose niches and ideas that are LONG TERM. It’s

just as easy to build a long term website as a short term one. Don’t waste your time on temporary niches.

• Think of any website you build as “Virtual Real Estate.” Your $8 purchase could become worth millions if you do this right

• It’s not as easy as the slick “guru’s” say it is, but it’s a lot easier than a lot of other methods too. Commit.

For 6 months it was my sole focus

1 year later, it was on autopilot, and required only a few hours a month of my time.

GVO has a great service for marketers that includes all the tools you need- cheap (hosting, auto-responder, conference room, etc.)

SEMRush.com and domainhole.com for market research.

Niche and Keyword ResearchHas to be something HIGHLY DESIRABLE, or that Solves a PAIN or PROBLEM.

“Needs” don’t sell well, unless you’re Walmart.

It must be IN DEMAND, riding waves is way easier than creating waves.

Use SEMRush.com for keyword research. If you are going to make big money, look for products with over 10,000 searches a month.
