The route is marked with a range of wooden posts, each with a QR code which you can scan with your mobile phone and learn more about the location that you are in and learn about your local park. Try it out for yourself! It’s great exercise too, did you know if you do the whole walk you’ll walk approximately 1,200 steps, and if you did this just once a week, in one year you’ll walk over 35 miles and use over 3,000 calories. Whilst you’re here in Salt Hill Park why not check out other things to do: For all 4-14yr olds and their families, come and walk, jog or run 2km as part of Junior parkrun. Every Sunday morning at 9.30am Use the Outdoor Gym next to the tennis courts for free. It’s open 24hrs a day, 7 days a week Explore the Salt Hill Stream and Wetlands area Why not try out the Skate Park, the Multi Use Games Area or the articial cricket strip. There’s lots more fun, family activities in the park You could even try a game of tennis.
