There are three simple words that encompass everything we’ve always been, and what we want the rest of the world to know. We call it Together, Building People.

together—Our success depends on our distributors’ success. There’s camaraderie between 4Life employees and distributors that captures the very reason why true teamwork is so powerful. The bottom line is that you belong somewhere: with us at 4Life.

building—Bettering lives starts with you. As you embrace the products and Life Rewards Plan™, you’ll realize there’s no better company than 4Life to help you discover fantastic health, financial security, and personal empowerment. And it’s up to you to share your newfound wisdom with others, in turn making their lives richer than before they discovered 4Life.

People—As a 4Life Distributor, you embrace the philosophy that every single person in the world is individual and different. And we couldn’t agree more. At 4Life, we’re all about tapping into every individual’s motivation, and helping each person fulfill their dreams.

These three words form the 4Life philosophy, so be prepared: you’re going to hear a lot about Together, Building People, because it’s what we’re all about.

The 4Life® Philosophy

People today are taking a proactive approach to their health… in recent years there’s been a dramatic upswing in the desire to maintain wellness, instead of reacting to sickness. As a result, the wellness industry is poised to exceed $1 trillion in revenue by the end of this decade (Paul Zane Pilzer, 2006).

4Life® is THE immune system company. Our research and technology has proven time and time again that a healthy immune system is the key to maintaining optimal wellness. Why?

Every day the human body spends tons of energy dealing with toxins and handling repairs. Imagine spending the entire day cleaning your house… after all the sweeping and scouring, you’d probably be too tired to really enjoy your squeaky-clean house, right?

So it is with the body. the less time it spends repairing cells and purging toxins, the more energy it has for other things… like playing tennis with your friends, or tag with your three-year old.

To sum it up, a rapid-fire immune system makes all your other body systems function optimally… which means you can stay busy living your optimal life.

It doesn’t take a genius to know a great opportunity when you see one… but it does take a smart person like you, a company like 4Life, and an amazing product like 4Life Transfer Factor® to capitalize on a great opportunity while changing lives for the better.

The Immunity Opportunity

www.4life.com • 4

Unlike some health supplements, transfer factors aren’t herbs, minerals or vitamins… they’re messenger molecules found in your body, and they teach your immune system how to stay healthy. Transfer factors are the key to maintaining a rapid-fire immune system, which will keep your energy reserves fired up, your well-being in check, and your A-Game in play.

4Life’s Transfer Factor line is extracted from cow colostrum and chicken egg yolks, resulting in a blend that’s patented, proprietary, and more powerful than many leading immune system support products available on the market today. (See graph at right.)

Ever since 4Life opened its doors in 1998, it’s taken an extraordinary discovery and made it better and better.

How 4Life® Products Compare

This all boils down to two words: unlimited potential. 4Life transfer factor is wellness technology without boundaries. And from broad-spectrum support to a targeted boost, the 4Life Transfer Factor product line has something for everyone.

“Our lives changed when we began giving 4Life Transfer Factor® Kids to our young son to help provide balance for his immune system. He is such a happy child. He runs, jumps, hops, and enjoys great health. We recommend this product to all parents. We’re dedicating ourselves to our family and to 4Life!”

Whether your 4Life journey is part-time or full steam ahead, our Life Rewards compensation plan “pays off” every step of the way.

Let’s start with the most important question: How do you get paid as a 4Life Distributor?

There are four main ways: Through Personal LP Payouts, Distributor bonuses, Rapid Rewards, and the Power Pool:

Personal LP Payout: A 25 percent payout on personal volume over 100 LP generated in one month.

Distributor bonuses: The earnings you make from the sales volume of your organization.

How our Life Rewards Plan™ pays off

Here’s how distributor bonuses would work for a 4Life Leader, which pays out to the third level:

Circles One, Two and Three represent three people in one leg of your downline. Each person is a level (i.e., first level, second level, third level).

You will receive a payout of 2 percent on your first level. This means, if your first level orders 100 LP, you will receive $2.

You will receive a payout of 25 percent on your second level. This means, if your second level orders 100 LP, you will receive $25.

You will receive a payout of 5 percent on your third level. This means, if your third level orders 100 LP, you will receive $5.

The gray circles branching off from Circle YOU are two more people you’ve enrolled—together, these three people make your frontline. For simplicity’s sake in explaining the payouts, this illustration focuses on just one of your legs—but the point is that you see how your money triples when you combine all the payouts from your entire frontline.

In other words, for a 4Life Leader:

You’ll earn $6 on those three 100 LP orders at the first level.

You’ll earn $75 on those three 100 LP orders at the second level.

You’ll earn $15 on those three 100 LP orders at the third level.

For a more detailed description of these payout scenarios, please see the compensation plan graph on page 12.

Here’s how distributor bonuses would work for a 4Life Diamond through the fourth level:

Circles One, Two , Three and Four represent four people in one leg of your downline. Each person is a level (i.e., first level, second level, third level, fourth level).

You will receive a payout of 6 percent on your fourth level.* This means, if your fourth level orders 100 LP, you will receive $6.

but here’s the great part: as a Diamond, you’ll receive 6 percent on every level thereafter to infinity, unless you are blocked by and equal or higher rank.

For a more detailed description of these payout scenarios, please see the compensation plan graph on page 12.

As with the Leader illustration, the gray circles branching off from Circle YOU are two more people you’ve enrolled, making your frontline. Again, we illustrated just one of your legs—but again, see how your money triples when you comine all the payouts form your entire frontline!

You’ll earn $75 on those three 100 LP orders at the second level.

You’ll earn $15 on those three 100 LP orders at the third level.

You’ll earn $18 on those three 100 LP orders at the fourth level.

rapid rewards: Twice a month 4Life pays out a 25 percent rebate on the first LP order of anyone you personally enroll--his payout is called Rapid Rewards.

So, for example, if you personally enrolled your entire front line (see below), you would receive a one-time Rapid Rewards bonus of $25 on each of their 100 LP orders.

Dive in to the Power Pool, where you can find payouts and paradise!

the Power Pool

One of the coolest perks of being a 4Life® Distributor is the Power Pool program—a path that leads to payouts and paradise!

Power Pool makes it possible to claim your share of 4Life’s good fortune. 4Life takes two percent of the entire company’s global LP every month and distributes it among all the Power Pool winners—that’s on top of your Personal LP Payout! Qualifying for Power Pool also gives you a chance to win an all-expense-paid vacation for two to an exotic location in your part of the world.

To qualify for the Power Pool, personally enroll three people in a month who each personally generate 100 LP for at least two consecutive months. Don’t forget to generate 100 LP for yourself!

the Power Pool is your Diamond tool. Power Pool is the way to build your distributor organization and qualify you for higher-paying ranks. In fact, in just three months of playing the Power Pool, you could reach a crucial breakthrough marker—the level of Diamond.

the Diamond rank

4Life’s Diamond rank is one of our secrets to success. When you qualify as a Diamond, and then get each member of your organization to Diamond, you will quickly ascend through 4Life’s rank levels.

And frankly, Diamond is also where the money gets really good. Diamonds earn more than $400 more per month on average than at previous ranks… and at the Presidential Diamond level you qualify for infinity payouts…and at the Presidential Diamond level you qualify for infinity payouts.

So, how do you get to Diamond? You do two things:

• First, you need to personally enroll six new distributors who each order 100 LP monthly.

• Second, your personally enrolled distributors also need to personally enroll six distributors who order 100 LP monthly.

the Diamond rank is the first big step toward achieving your dreams.

www.4life.com • 14

These two steps will give you your needed three-level team volume of 3000 LP. This may not make much sense yet, but for now this is all you need to know to meet the criteria: You and your enrollees need to order 100 LP a month, and then their enrollees order 100 LP a month. Do this one more time, and you’ve got three levels with a team volume of 3000 LP.

Once you reach Diamond, how do you get your team to Diamond? Pay careful attention to the Leader In You. It will take you through the steps needed to formulate your “Arrive at Diamond” action plan, and explain what needs to happen at each step to make Diamond your reality.

the Leader In You can propel you to achieving the Diamond rank, and to all

the rewards that lie ahead.

A Chinese philosopher once observed that:

• A bad leader is someone people dislike…

• A good leader is someone people admire… but

• A great leader is someone people look to and say, “We can do it ourselves.”

At 4Life we’re committed to great leadership—so we empower our distributors with a training curriculum. It’s proven. It’s easily duplicated. And it’s called the Leader In You.

Right now we’re going to introduce you to the first five parts of the Leader In You. Grab a pen and a notebook, because you’ll be writing some things down as we go… and ideally, your sponsor should be right there with you to help you through this introduction.

tHE LEADER IN YOUEmpowerment is the pivot on which good leaders can become

truly great ones.

The first thing you need to do is “find your why.”

We both know that you want to begin a 4Life Business, because you’re here. The question is: Why?

• Do you want to take your sweetie on a dream retreat?

• Do you want to make some headway on your kids’ college funds?

• Or maybe your “why” is something less tangible, but just as valuable.

Maybe your “why” is a sigh of relief—the one that gives way when you have a little extra money stashed for those “rainy days”… or the sunny ones too, for that matter.

Maybe your “why” is about having more hours in the day to read, take dance lessons, volunteer… more hours to do what you want.

Leader In You Part 1: Find Your “Why”

www.4life.com • 16

What is yourDream? Why?What is my dream? To become financially independent.

What about becoming financiallyindependent motivates me?I could go on long trips to beautiful places.

What about travelingmotivates me?I could spend quality time with my wife

and improve our relationship.

That last statement is the true motivator, or

the fundamental reason, for you doing this

business. That is what will make you succeed.

This first part of the Leader In You is crucial, because it helps you think about which of your dreams are the most important to you… because the clearer your dreams become, the more likely you are to realize them.

People who write down their dreams on paper are much more likely to achieve them. So when you sit down and list your dreams, keep this important concept in mind:

think rewards, not awards.

For example, instead of saying, “I want to make $10,000 in one month,” think about what that money translates into: paying off debt, quitting your job, spending time with your family… the monetary award symbolizes the reward, which is the new way of life you’ll enjoy when you reach your goal.

Defining your dreams brings your true motivators to life, and it’s those motivators that drive you to succeed.

Leader In You Part 2: Stand By Your “Why”When it comes to our aspirations, one universal law usually rings true:

big results require big changes.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to produce some dramatic results in your life… but, as with anything, those results require change and effort. They require you to keep your dreams in the forefront of your mind, and make a promise to yourself to achieve them.

the success you seek requires you to commit. And to become a successful 4Life leader, you need to commit to four things:

1. Your dreams. Commit to your dreams by revisiting them often; “keep your why close by.” That means surround yourself with tangible reminders of the rewards you’re striving for; for example, if spending more time with your family is your “why,” carry a family photo with you for inspiration.

www.4life.com • 18

2. Your upline. Seek direction and counsel from your upline leaders; they’ll be a great resource for you as you get your business underway, and it will show them that you’re dedicated and motivated.

3. Your people. This is where you want to let your leader light shine! Express the same respect and loyalty to your downline team as you would your upline leaders. Be committed to their success—remember, their success is your success.

4. Your system. Why commit to the Leader In You training? Because it’s a proven blueprint for success… because it works. Follow this curriculum to get yourself and your personally enrolled distributors to Diamond.

When you identified your “why,” you discovered the launch pad for success. Commitment is the fuel that will propel you there.

Leader In You Part 3: If you PLAN, you CAN!Your “why” is defined and close by… you’re committed and on board… now what?

Here are some of the questions you’ll want to ask yourself as you strategize your plan:

• How many peo

each day?

• How many peo

to

weekly meetings?

• How many loca

• What ran

k do you ultimately wa

nt

to achieve, and

when?

It’s important to feel good about your answers, because you’re laying the foundation of your business—and your success—with them.

There are two more things to keep in mind when you plan:

• be realistic—Do not set yourself up to fail by making a plan that you won’t be able to follow. If you know you can only devote four hours a week to your 4Life® Business in the beginning, that’s perfectly fine. It’s better to make the most of the four hours you have, than to plan for 15 hours you know you don’t have. Be realistic when you set your goals.

• be consistent—There’s the story of the stonecutter, hammering away at his rock a hundred times without even a crack to show for it… then, at the hundred-and-first blow, the rock splits in two… we know that it was not that single blow that did it, but the hundred blows before it.

www.4life.com • 20

If you want to take control of your business—and your life—make your actions consistent with your desires. It’s not what we do occasionally that will make us a success, but what we do consistently.

the Power Pool is your Diamond tool!

When you make Power Pool the first item on your “to-do” list, you take a vital step toward reaching Diamond. Remember, to qualify for the Power Pool, you need to:

• Enroll three distributors each month who each personally generate 100 LP for two consecutive months, making sure you also generate 100 LP.

• Do this again, and again.

• You’ve qualified as a Diamond!

No math needed, just keep qualifying for the Power Pool and all the extra cash and bonuses are yours!

Once you get to Diamond, keep playing the Power Pool and encouraging your entire organization to do the same. Soon you’ll be a Presidential Diamond, and then an International Diamond, a Gold International Diamond, and finally a Platinum International Diamond.

achieving big dreams begins with taking small steps.

73% of all distributors who reach the Diamond rank are still active after two full years.

4Life® bonus checks increase onaverage almost

$400the month you qualify for Diamond.

Every 4Life Distributor before you who made it to Diamond, Presidential Diamond, and International Diamond did it hour by hour, day by day, and week by week… and so will you.

“Whenever I get discouraged, I just remember that Rome wasn’t built in one day. Nothing worthwhile comes easy. You have to make a consistent effort to achieve your dreams, and I always know that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.”

the Power Pool is a vital step toward reaching the 4Life rank of Diamond.

Our philosophy isn’t Together, Building Fortunes or Together, Building Corporate Empires… it’s Together, Building People for a very good reason: Because when it comes to achieving success, no matter how you define it, our people make all the difference.

Network marketing is all about relationships… which is why your list of potential distributors, which you’re about to begin making, is your most valuable resource. This is a list of people who will make up your distributor organization, so put some sincere thought into the names you choose to put on it. always try and have 100 names on your list, and update it regularly as circumstances change.

Take some time to create your list… but first, heed some important advice: Whether it’s your brother or your bus driver, never make a snap judgment about anyone.

How would you feel if, five years from now, a friend asks you why you didn’t share with him the opportunity that took you from so-so to SO GREAT? You never know what events transpire in someone’s life that attracts them to this opportunity… so, make sure you give the people in your life the chance to decide for themselves.

besides, who wouldn’t like more money, better health, and a chance to achieve their dreams?

When making your prospecting list, don’t forget to include these folks:

www.4life.com • 24

Now that you’ve got all those names on your list, classify them into two categories:

• Warm List: These are the folks you’re closest to —family members, friends, and co-workers—they trust your judgment and have taken your advice before. You’ll want to approach these people first.

• Lukewarm List: These are people you know, but don’t have a close relationship with yet. When you make the effort to strengthen that bond, you’ll move them to the warm list.

Classifying your list is vital, because it helps you and your upline leader customize your approach to each person.

• Ask… then really, really listen. Excellent listening skills allow you to tune in to people’s wants and needs… so, when you begin a conversation with someone, ask one question and then really listen. This will also let you know what question to ask next.

• Be honest. You may meet with resistance when you present the 4Life Opportunity—this is a perfectly natural part of the process, but there’s no reason to panic. Instead, be honest—talk openly with your prospect about their concerns, as well as how you yourself overcame your own doubts and fears. Being approachable, understanding, and trustworthy will be some of your most powerful business tools.

Look how far you’ve come!

You’ve defined your dreams

You’ve committed to your success

You’ve drafted a plan

You’ve created and categorized your prospecting list

There’s only one thing left for you to do… go forth and prospect!

There are a few important things to keep in mind when you present the 4Life® Opportunity:

• Friends first. Develop a friendship before moving on to a business relationship.

• The “eyes” have it. Establish eye contact with the person/group you’re presenting to.

Plan of action

Now that your long-range plan is shaping up nicely, take a few minutes and make a quick-start action plan to get you moving right now.

In your notebook, write down the following phrases:

in the next 48 hours, i will

before the end of the week, i will

Within 10 days, i will

Within 30 days, i will

it’s time to create a plan of action!

Here are some things you could do to jump-start your 4Life® business.

order your business cards. These are a must-have for all the meeting and greeting

you’ll be doing! We recommend ordering your business cards from our website within 24 hours.

Place your second order. To take advantage of the benefits and earning potential of the

Power Pool, you must place your second order for 100 LP within the second month.

add three to the team. Put those business cards and the presentation tools in the

distributor kit to use to excite new prospects about starting their 4Life Businesses.

Qualify for the Power Pool. Personally enrolling three distributors is the first criteria

to qualify for the Power Pool. Be sure your distributors place two consecutive monthly orders of at least 100 LP, along with your own 100 LP orders for those months, and you qualify!

Dial in to a conference call. Our conference calls are informative, entertaining and a

great way to get oriented to 4Life… and they’re held every single week, so visit www.4life.com, check the conference call schedule, and make plans to get in on one this week.

attend a local meeting. Head to the 4Life web and find out when the next meeting

in your area is going to be, and make plans to attend.

follow up. Make a point to reconnect with potential distributors that have already

heard about the 4Life Opportunity. Let them know you care, and that you’re available to support and help them through this transitional time of starting a new business.

action Plan

No matter which way you choose to introduce the opportunity, remember:

• Make it personal. Build a friendship with your prospect before presenting them the opportunity.

• Make it short and sweet. Respect people’s time by stating your reason for calling/visiting quickly, but in a way that piques their interest. Also, be mindful of people’s attention spans. You usually have about 45 seconds to pitch your idea before people begin to lose interest… even less if your pitch isn’t compelling.

• Make them want more. What happens when you feed a pigeon until it’s full? It flies away. But what happens if you feed it a little? It follows you, wanting to eat out of your hand again. Answer your prospect’s questions, but refrain from giving them the whole story on your first encounter… give them a reason to come back to you for more information.

ProSPECting roLE-PLaYSThe InviteThere are three ways you can introduce people to the 4Life® Opportunity:

1. You can invite them to watch the Discover 4Life DVD (in your kit)

2. You can invite them to review the Discover 4Life introductory brochure (in your kit)

3. You can invite them to attend a scheduled 4Life meeting, featuring the Discover 4Life PowerPoint® presentation (invitations and PowerPoint presentation can be found in your kit)

• Make a follow-up appointment. Set up a time to talk to your prospect about what they’ve seen and heard about 4Life… preferably within 48 hours of the presentation.

If your prospect has attended a 4Life meeting with you, take a few minutes afterward to reinforce the presentation, answer questions, and strengthen your bond. Limit your post-meeting conversation to 15 minutes, unless they express a desire for further discussion. After all, they’ve already invested the time to come to the meeting, and you don’t want to overwhelm them. Besides, you can talk more at length when you follow up with them in 48 hours.

When introducing 4Life to someone, respect their time and make your

pitch quick, but compelling.

Here is an example of an effective invitation approach.

4Lifer: Jane, it’s been so great to catch up with you! It sounds like things are going pretty good… but listen, when you have some time I would love to share an opportunity with you that can make things really good! Seriously, this opportunity has changed my life, and I think it would be a perfect fit for someone like you. Is there a day this week that we can get together?

Prospect: Sure, that sounds interesting… I think I have Wednesday evening available.

4Lifer: Wednesday’s perfect for me, too… say, 7 p.m. at your house?

Prospect: That would be great.

4Lifer: Okay, I’ll see you then!

build friendships before presenting the 4Life opportunity.

There may be times when you come across someone who has questions or concerns about the 4Life® Opportunity. And that’s a perfectly natural reaction for some people to have… after all, for many people network marketing is unfamiliar territory. Initially they may not fully understand the concept and, therefore, be afraid to make a commitment.

Don’t panic… and don’t be defensive. Instead, be honest. Let them know you understand, because you used to have some of the same concerns… and then share your personal experience of overcoming those concerns.

It’s also important to encourage your prospect to review all the information before making a decision. At this point, what do they have to lose?

Reinforce how 4Life has positively impacted your life, and the lives of so many others… and then suggest that they invest some time examining the 4Life Opportunity to see what it can do for them, rather than passing it over prematurely.

On the next page we’ve given you some examples of how this dialogue can go.

What happens when it doesn’t go smoothly?

Scenario #1

4Lifer: Jane, it’s great to see you! It seems like we don’t ever get to chat anymore.

Prospect: I know, my life is just so crazy… long days at work, running the kids around after school, a long list of to-do’s when I get home at night… I just don’t have any time to myself these days.

4Lifer: Well, it sounds like you need to hear about the business I’m involved with now… it’s only been three months and yet, I have to say, things are really going well. I’d love to share this opportunity with you!

Prospect: You’re kidding, right? I just told you what my days are like… my life is so jam-packed I don’t have time to even hear about a new business, much less have time to start one!

4Lifer: Believe me, I know where you’re coming from, because I used to feel the same way. But I found this opportunity actually freed up more of my time. I’ve discovered that when you work this business successfully, you can have the freedom to do what you want to do. Do you think an opportunity like that is worth investing a few minutes to learn about?

Prospect: It sounds interesting... but I just don’t see how I can fit this into my life right now.

4Lifer: I understand completely. Let me leave you with this brochure/DVD to look at if you find some time… See what you think, and I’ll touch base with you in a couple of days to see if you have any questions.

Prospect: Okay, sounds good. Thanks.

Scenario #2

4Lifer: John, it’s good to see you, man! Sounds like things are going pretty good… but hey, if you’ve got some time this week I want to tell you about this great new company I’ve hooked up with. The earning potential is amazing and I get to be my own boss. I can come and go when I please, have time to do what I want—but I still take my business seriously, and make some serious money doing it. What do you think?

Prospect: I think you’ve been taken in by one of those MLM companies, man. I’ve heard about those companies and, to be honest, what I’ve heard doesn’t boost my confidence in them.

4Lifer: Yeah, I know there are some pretty twisted misconceptions about network marketing companies out there. What bothers you about them?

www.4life.com • 36

being understanding and trustworthy will be one of your most powerful

business tools.

Prospect: A couple of things… first, it seems like you can only make decent money if you get in on the ground level—and even then, that money can disappear at any time because it’s not a stable company. It just seems like people in those companies only care about making a quick buck, not about the products they are selling or the people they’re selling them to.

4Lifer: I know where you’re coming from—I had some of the same concerns myself, and there are probably some companies that operate that way. But 4Life isn’t one of those companies—in fact, what I’ve learned about 4Life has totally changed my opinion about network marketing. Would you give me a few minutes to shed a different light on this?

Prospect: I don’t know, man. I don’t think you can change my mind on this, I’ve heard too many negative things about network marketing.

Express how 4Life® has positively impacted your life, and the lives

of so many others.

As these role plays illustrate, it’s also important to encourage your prospect to review all the information before making a decision. After all, this is merely an introduction to 4Life: at this point, what do they have to lose?

Reinforce how 4Life has positively impacted your life, and the lives of so many others… and then suggest that they invest some time examining the 4Life Opportunity to see what it can do for them, rather than passing it over prematurely.

4Lifer: Well, I want you to be able to make an informed decision for yourself, rather than rely on what you’ve heard. I’ve got a great brochure/DVD that I want to leave with you… it really helped me see that 4Life is a company that’s credible, stable, and successful—it gave me a whole new perspective on network marketing, and I think it can do the same for you. Would you be willing to look it over?

Prospect: Okay… but I can’t make any promises.

4Lifer: Hey man, no promises are required… just take a look at this brochure/DVD and, in a couple of days, I’ll give you a call and you let me know what you think. Okay?

Prospect: Sounds good.

It’s been 48 hours since your prospect was presented the 4Life® Opportunity, either through a meeting, a DVD presentation or literature… and now it’s time to reconnect and get their feedback.

Sometimes follow-up conversations result in the prospect feeling immediately confident, excited and ready to enroll as a distributor. However, as we discussed earlier with the invites, your follow-up discussion may not always go that smoothly. Your prospect may still be hesitating because of any number of reasons: they don’t feel suited for this kind of business, they doubt their ability to succeed, they don’t think they can make the time commitment… or perhaps other concerns they’ve not yet shared with you.

Again, this is a natural reaction for some people… and again, there’s no need to panic. You remember what it was like to be in their position… so this may be a good opportunity to tell them again how you overcame your fears and doubts.

Here are some guidelines for following up:

• Ask the right questions. Don’t begin by asking “So, what did you think?” Most people will be inclined to voice their concerns first, and you want this discussion to be positive from the get-go. Instead, ask questions that steer the conversation in a productive direction, one that allows your prospect to recall what excited them about the 4Life Opportunity.

“What part of the presentation (or literature) interested you most?”“How could you see this opportunity changing your life for the better?”“What dreams can you see yourself achieving through the 4Life Opportunity?”

The Follow-Up

• Provide the right answers. Now that your prospect has had some time to reflect on the information, they will probably have a few more questions for you. Answer them all clearly and cheerfully… after all, more questions is a sign of interest, and that’s a good thing!

• Less is more. During this phase of the process, it’s easy to make the mistake of overwhelming your prospect with too much complex information. Resist the temptation to ramble! Keep your explanations simple and direct.

• Reinforce the appeal. Different people will be attracted to different aspects of the opportunity, and you’ll want to reinforce what appeals most to the individual. For example, your prospect is interested by the business aspect; but if you overload them with health-and-science data, you end up diluting the vision of success they see for themselves. Listen carefully, hone in on what has sparked their interest, and then stoke that spark!

Turn the page and see how a successful follow-up conversation can go.

Scenario #1

Prospect: Hello?

4Lifer: Hi Jane, it’s Diane—how are you?

Prospect: I’m good Diane, how about you?

4Lifer: I’m wonderful, thanks… hey, I just wanted to see if you had a chance to watch the DVD (read the brochure) I gave you a couple of days ago.

Prospect: Actually, I watched it (read it) last night right before I went to bed.

4Lifer: That’s great! Let me ask you, what part of the presentation (brochure) interested you the most?

Prospect: I have to admit, the idea of being successful in this business while spending more time at home is very appealing… but I’m still not sure I’m a good fit for this kind of thing.

follow-up is your chance to reconnect and reinforce the 4Life® message.

4Lifer: That was one of my first thoughts, too! But I decided to attend a meeting—And I got many of my questions answered, and met people who overcame the same fears that I had. How about coming with me to a meeting this Thursday?

Prospect: Oh, I don’t know…

4Lifer: Jane, you said the idea of spending more time at home appealed to you. Before you decide against a company that really does offer the freedom you want, come with me to the meeting and see how you feel after that.

Prospect: Well, I am interested in learning a little more about it… okay, you’ve talked me into it. What time on Thursday?

4Lifer: I’ll pick you up at 7 p.m.—Jane, you won’t regret it!

Prospect: Thanks Diane, see you Thursday at 7.

Scenario #2

Prospect: Hello?

4Lifer: Hey John, it’s Dave—how ya doin’?

Prospect: Hey Dave, I’m good, what’s going on?

4Lifer: Not a whole lot, man, I was just wondering if you watched that DVD (read that brochure) I gave you a couple of days ago?

Prospect: Yeah, actually, I did watch it (read it).

4Lifer: That’s great—what impressed you the most about the presentation (brochure)?

Prospect: Well, the products make a lot of sense… it seems like you guys have really done your homework on those transfer factors, and that impresses me. But I still have my doubts about this as a business.

4Lifer: What concerns do you have?

www.4life.com • 42

Prospect: Well, as I was telling you before, I think the big money comes when you get in on the ground floor of a network marketing company. You guys have been in business for several years now, so I don’t see how I could enter the picture this late and still make a decent living.

4Lifer: This is one of the myths of network marketing—and it definitely doesn’t apply at 4Life®! One of the major benefits of starting your 4Life Business now is that you have a ton of resources that weren’t around when 4Life began. We’ve had eight years to hone our training programs and develop state-of-the-art business tools. And we’ve got thousands of successful people to inspire you—many of whom began

with 4Life just a short time ago! You can meet some of these people at our next meeting on Tuesday night—how about going with me?

Prospect: I don’t know, man…

4Lifer: John, you said that you were impressed by what you’ve seen of 4Life so far. Come to the meeting with me… I think you’ll continue to be impressed by what you see and hear. What do you say?

Prospect: Yeah, all right. What do I have to lose?

4Lifer: You’ve got nothing at all to lose… except a great opportunity to change your life! I’ll pick you up at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, okay?

Prospect: Sounds good, see you then.

above all: respect Your Prospect

No matter what path your prospect chooses, remember: Always respect their feelings and be sensitive to their situation. They have to feel good about their decision… and they have to feel like they made their decision willingly, rather than feeling like they were pressured into something they don’t believe in. We don’t operate that way at 4Life.

When given the chance, the 4Life Opportunity—and all the success it has to offer—speaks for itself. And soon you’ll have many people in your organization who know it, too. Remember: Patience, professionalism and persistence pay off!
