Rabbi’s Message
What is the connection between this Shabbos and the United States? There is an important American artifact in Philadelphia which bears an inscription from our Parsha. The words from Behar “to proclaim liberty throughout the land unto all the inhabitants thereof” are etched on the famous Liberty Bell in Independence National Historical Park. This coming week will mark an important moment in the relationship between America and Israel with the official US Embassy move to Yerushalayim. The world’s reaction has been predictably tepid but for us the news has been ringing in our ears for months. May these events truly proclaim liberty and peace in Israel and throughout the world.

MORTY SKLARIN ע'ה DAF YOMI PROGRAM
Message from the
YIDB Board of Directors:
To maintain our services and programs obligates us to collect the outstanding moneys due expeditiously. Recently, the shul was hit with a huge expense. It was discovered the roof, walls and windows of our building had major water damage. In the process a mold issue was also discovered. All of this has been addressed with concrete and roof repair, mold mitigation and painting. We urgently need the funds to cover these unexpected expenses. We would like to thank Heshey Spitzer for all his effort, endless hours of overseeing this project and making sure the work was completed satisfactorily.
