A team can consist of individuals who walk, run, or volunteer during the event.

Earn Team PointsYour team will earn two points for every participant registered. Volunteers also earn your team two points. Every $50 raised in pledges earns your team one point.

Teams registered by September 15th are entered in a draw to win a Twiggs Coffee Party hosted by 101.9 Rock morning team Mitch & Vicky.

Team ChallengesCommunity Team ChallengeCommunity members can take part in the Community Team Challenge. Winners receive the coveted Silver Bed Pan trophy to proudly display, earn boasting rights until the next Walk/Run, team plaque, and a Pizza Party.

Hospital Team ChallengeHospital employees can take part in the Hospital Team Challenge. Winners get to add an object to the existing trophy that represents their team or department, receive a team plaque and Pizza Party.

Youth Team ChallengeStudents, sports teams, groups, and clubs can form a team and take part in the Youth Team Challenge. Add an object to the trophy that represents your team and receive a team plaque and a movie party at Galaxy Cinemas. (This is not a school-sanctioned event)

Spirit Award! Everyone can take part in the Spirit Award! Spirit will be judged throughout the event based on costumes, cheers, and attitude. Spirit Award winners receive a team trophy and Pizza Party.

Best Team NameVote for your favourite Team Name. Starting on September 22nd, all teams registered will be added to ourhospitalwalkrun Facebook page. Teams that register after that day will be added as received. Press LIKE to vote for your favourite team name. Voting will end at noon on October 6th. The team name that receives the most Likes will receive team race numbers recognizing their win.

I acknowledge that my participation in the Walk/Run is purely voluntary.I understand that neither the North Bay Regional Health Centre Foundation nor North Bay Regional Health Centre take any responsibility for any harm, loss or damage to myself or my personal property arising or resulting from my participation in the Walk/Run.I understand and acknowledge that there may be risks associated with my participation in the Walk/Run which are further outlined in the brochure provided, and which may include serious physical injury, permanent disability, and/or death. I further understand that these risks may be relative to my own level of skill, fitness, and/or health.I understand that not all parts of the Walk/Run will be supervised and that it is my responsibility to inform myself of the risks involved in my participation and to monitor my progress in the Walk/Run and seek assistance and/or medical attention as necessary.I assume full responsibility for consulting with a physician prior to and regarding my participation in the Walk/Run.
