Different   Every day is different. That’s why live for the moment. Every day make a wish And your dream will come true. Today maths, tomorrow chemistry. Live then the full life of imagination.   Every day is different. Today happy, tomorrow sad. Far from you, I can’t live because you are my other half, you change things. Every day is different. Let’s make a new start.     by Emanouella Kalogeropoulou    Ionidios Experimental Junior High School of Piraeus,

You and I together   You and I together keep going on. Nothing can stop us as our love grows stronger.   You and I together, On a wonderful Sunday morning can show the world unity, the love I bear for you my friend.   You and I together, careless, one morning can meet plenty of great loves, even to get to know you better.   You and I together, careless one morning can have the time of our lives as if we were kids.   Let’s take a walk on the mountain or a stroll on the shore, you and I together, leaving city life behind.   To live as one in harmony to take our life a step further. You and I together. By John Misokalos

About Friendship Duino Poetry Contest 2014   Kids usually ask you – ‘Do you want to be my friend?’ They just ask, looking for a title in a game, which don’t really know how to play well. What is a friend then. A friend is someone whom you can keep in your heart, unforgettable, trustworthy, always encouraging. But friendship is too vulnerable. You have to leave some space. Don’t be overwhelming. Be careful. Friendship is much more important than you can imagine.   by Chistos Filippakis

Bicycle   Life feels like a bicycle. Wheels keep turning, tuned to moments. And, if the wheels happen to fall in a pit, Do not worry, just pull up courage and move on. And, if the tyres get flat, Do not worry, someone will give you a hand to repair them. And, if you find yourself going uphill, bear in mind that you, and only you, are at the wheel, pushing the pedals. Hang in there, and you are going to be a winner no matter where you finish the race.   by Maria Dolloglou

Together     You and me always together in sadness and in happiness. Just tell me you’re not going to leave me and that we’re going to be together forever. Whenever it’s Christmas, whenever it snows, I know you’re going to be there, I know your love is going to last. So, let me show you how much I love you. Let me show you things about life, Let me be myself.     By Ria Arabatzi

We are One   You and I, always together both in good and bad times. I will always love you with no hesitation. since life will not be always there, let’s enjoy the chance of being together. Give me your hand trust the world and let the sun lead our way to the skies. Don’t be afraid. We are together, We are one.

My life in your life     We differ so much yet we are alike like two drops fallen from the same sky. And I know why we aren’t other because I am You and you are I as if my world is in your world my life in your life your existence into my existence.       By Irene-Maria Tzerbou

A Friend Is   A friend is someone who loves you, someone who dares telling the truth. A friend is also the enemy, a friend is I, a friend is You, a friend is all the world. a friend is sweet wine, a friend is sour wine, a friend is what is good, a friend is what is bad. A friend is only whom you want to be your friend, A friend is only whom you wish to become friends but haven’t yet met. A friend is any soulless object. Is there anything around not being but a friend.     By Emanouella Verma

Is There Friendship?     Friendship, a sacred word. Friendship, a holy word written in our hearts, not in the books. Friendship, word in pain after being let down.   by

New Faces   Life keeps changing, moving forwards, never looking back. The past is moving backwards, each moment withdrawing itself. New faces, different habits, unfamiliar places, letting off their stigma. Everything is changing. A cool breeze on a clear sky and a bright sunlight aiming at our friendship which feels like a fast car on the way to moments and moments to come, without asking who is I and who are you.      by Alexandra Filippaki
