The tour price of $4,399* is based on a minimum of 30 passengers. Cancellation of the pilgrimage is possible if fewer than 30 sign up. ACCOMMODATIONS: Pilgrims stay in first class hotels, based on double occupancy with private facilities. Supplement for single occupancy in a double room is $750, based on availability. MEALS: Breakfast and dinner are provided as indicated in the itinerary. TIPS AND TAXES: Extra costs normally appearing on hotel and restaurant bills as “services” are included in tour price, as are all government and local taxes on hotels and meals. Airport fees, departure taxes and fuel surcharges are not included, and will be billed at time of ticketing. SIGHTSEEING: Travel will be by modern, air-conditioned motor coach, including services of English-speaking guide and entrance fees paid to all sites on itinerary. Masses at churches indicated are subject to availability. NOT INCLUDED: 1) Optional travel insurance is not included. See enclosed insurance form for an insurance resource. Enclosed Travel Insurance Recommendation form must be signed to acknowledge that you have read the recommendation. 2) Also not included are meals not included in itinerary, plus laundry, wines, liquors, sightseeing or services other than those specifically listed, items of a personal nature, and excess baggage charges. 3) *Airport fees, departure taxes and fuel surcharges are calculated at the prevailing rate at the time of ticketing, and will be billed at that time. DEPOSIT AND CANCELLATION: A deposit of $500 per person is required to secure reservations, all of which will be applied to the price of the tour, with the balance to be paid in full no later than Apr. 9, 2012. Written cancellations received prior to Mar. 22, 2012 are refundable. AIR TRANSPORTATION: Round trip air transportation is provided between Portland/ London-Heathrow and London-Heathrow/Portland in economy class jet via United Airlines. If pilgrims cancel after Mar. 21, 2012 or after tickets are written, whichever comes first, 100 percent of airfare will be forfeited by passenger. All airfares are subject to government approval and may change without notice. INSURANCE: We recommend everyone purchase travel insurance. We urge this because insurance is not included in the tour price. Because of the cost of medical care outside the United States, and since Medicare does not provide coverage outside the U.S., there is the possibility that your own insurance provider may not cover you. Additionally, high costs are associated with escorted air evacuation. You will receive a travel insurance brochure along with a Travel Insurance Recommendation form. This form must be signed and returned to OCP Pilgrimages with your initial deposit. RESPONSIBILITY AND LIABILITY: OCP Pilgrimages and participating tour operators operate the land tours as agents of the hotels, bus operators, sightseeing contractors and others who provide the actual land arrangements. They are not liable for any act, omission, delay, injury, loss, damage or non-performance occurring in connection with these arrangements. Air carriers and other transportation companies whose services are featured in these tours are not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time passengers are not on board. The contract in use by these companies when issued shall constitute the sole contract between the companies and the purchaser of the tours and/or passage. MISCELLANOUS FEES: All changes must be in writing and may incur a charge for each revision. Deposits received after Mar. 21, 2012, may incur a late registration fee. (Breakfast and Dinner) Friday, May 25: York We leave the Lake District and drive to York, capital of the north of England under the Romans and one of the most historic cities in England. After the Romans came the Vikings, whose wool trade made the city the second richest in England in the Middle Ages. We walk through the city, seeing the Shambles, a picturesque street with half-timbered houses, the Minster, largest gothic church north of the Alps, and the city walls. (Breakfast and Dinner) Saturday, May 26: London We take the main highway south to London, political, cultural and economic capital of the United Kingdom. We see Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Piccadilly Circus and Hyde Park. Later we enjoy a special Medieval Farewell Banquet at St. Katherine’s Dock. Monday, May 14: Depart PortlandTuesday, May 15: CardiffWe arrive at London Heathrow airport and proceed to nearby Windsor Castle for a tour of the royal residence. Then we head west to Cardiff, capital of Wales, crossing the magnificent River Severn Bridge dividing England and the Principality. (Dinner)

Wednesday, May 16: WaterfordThis morning we tour Cardiff before crossing beautiful southern Wales to the port of Pembroke for the boat trip to Ireland. On arrival, we continue to Waterford, oldest city in Ireland, founded by Vikings on the River Suir 1,000 years ago. We stay overnight in Waterford. (Breakfast and Dinner)

Thursday, May 17: KillarneyWaterford is best known for its glass, and we enjoy a visit of the Waterford Crystal factory, the most famous brand of glass in the world. We then continue to Blarney, where legend says that whoever kisses the Blarney Stone will be endowed with the “Gift of the Gab.” We visit Blarney Castle and the Woollen Mills before continuing to Killarney for the first of a two-night stay. (Breakfast and Dinner))

Friday, May 18: Killarney We enjoy a panoramic drive around the Iveragh peninsula, or Ring of Kerry, as this scenic drive is more commonly known. The spectacular combination of high mountains, rocky bays, sandy beaches and dramatic seascapes make it one of Europe’s best-known drives. (Breakfast)

Saturday, May 19: Galway We drive north this morning through County Kerry, stopping briefly in Adare, known for its beautiful thatched and painted cottages. We then cross the River Shannon at Limerick on the way to Bunratty Castle, the most splendid tower house in Ireland. Here we enjoy a guided tour of the castle and nearby Folk Park, a wonderful and realistic re-creation of a typical 19th century village. We continue on to the Cliffs of Moher, amongst the country’s most stunning sights, where sandstone cliffs rise sheer from the Atlantic to a height of 600 feet. We then continue to Galway for overnight. (Breakfast and Dinner)

Sunday, May 20: Sligo An hour north of Galway is Knock, one of the world’s great Marian shrines. In 1879, several villagers reported seeing Mary, Joseph and St. John bathed in light next to the local church. Now it attracts up to one million pilgrims a year. We will visit the original Apparition Church and the new Basilica of Our Lady, Queen of Ireland. We stop in Ballymote, ancestral town of Fr. Kerns, before continuing to Sligo for the night. Monday, May 21: Belfast We cross Counties Sligo and Donegal into Northern Ireland this morning to see one of the world’s most stunning natural sites, the Giant’s Causeway. Formed by a volcanic eruption 60 million years ago, the lava finally solidified into 40,000 hexagonal columns, leading down into the sea. We continue to Belfast for the night. (Breakfast and Dinner)

Tuesday, May 22: EdinburghThis morning we cross the Irish Sea by ferry to Scotland, continuing to Edinburgh for the first of a two-night stay. The capital of Scotland is divided into Old and New Towns, each with its own distinct character. Set on a series of volcanic hills, the city’s prestige was further enhanced in 1999 with the opening of the Scottish Parliament. (Breakfast and Dinner)

Wednesday, May 23: Edinburgh We enjoy a sightseeing tour, including Edinburgh Castle, home of the Scottish Crown Jewels and Stone Of Scone, the Royal Mile, Princes Street and the New Town. We enjoy a free afternoon and evening to explore Edinburgh. (Breakfast)
