Join the Local Ladies Social Network, Woodbury Merchant & Professional Association, and Main Street Woodbury on Broad Street this Saturday, Nov14 (rain date Sunday, Nov 15) for their Holiday Bazaar.
Local merchants, crafters, and vendors of all kinds will be out - and even Santa andhis elf are going to make an appearance from 1-4pm.
LLSN will also be collecting toy donations (unwrapped toys only) for Robins' Nest,helping South Jersey families in need this holiday season.
Observance of Gratitude
Boy Scout Troop 7, McGuinness Funeral Home, theWoodbury Merchants & Professional Association,
and Woodbury Municipal Alliance will honor veteransSunday, November 15 in two places:
Soldier of Peace Monument (Hunter & Euclid Sts.) at1pmRotary Park (East Barber & Lake Aves.) at 2:15pm
At each location, there will be a 15-minute observance of gratitude. A "Field of Flags"will be installed November 8 and run through November 22. Visitors are welcome tostop by and label a flag with the name of a loved one.

In 1980, then-Councilman (and later, mayor) Donald Sanderson helped make Woodbury the first city in the United States to mandate recycling, built on the work of local Girl Scouts collecting recyclables at the supermarket (read more here).
With such a strong history, and with much pride, Woodbury needs your help. Your household recycling is an important part of Woodbury's legacy, recording 50% recycled solid waste. To keep the legacy and to avoid future costs,Woodbury reminds you to make recycling a habit in your household.

Christmas Gift Ministry: GWCM is also collecting new and unwrapped toys forinfants up through teenagers, as well as gifts for senior citizens. Suggested giftsinclude, but are not limited to, toys, books, coloring books and crayons, gift cards,socks, sugar free candy, cookies/candy, body powder, scented soap, warm gloves,scarves, lap robes, slippers, and no skid slipper socks.
