HERE WE ARE! New Zealand is home to many young changemakers,and also a very special Youth-LeadeR Speaker: TAYLOR Finderup!

Taylor has been honoured with the 2014 Ministry of Youth and Deve­lopment Change Maker Award and 2013 Inspiring Stories Trust ‘Makinga difference’ award.

She is best known for her passi­onate stand for sharks and suc­cessful campaign for ending sharkfinning in New Zealand waters,protecting our ocean ecosystemsfrom major harm, but she is alsoan avid volunteer, and advocatefor conscious living and animalrights.

The uplifting experience of positive feedback from changemakers,media, kids, teens and teachers has inspired her to raise ocean andenvironmental awareness and cultivate youth leadership among hergeneration in New Zealand, and across the planet.

Awakening to a cause she is passionate about at age 12, and startingwith mini steps, a cute youtube video, then harnessing the superpowers of teen-age student clubs, connecting with hero/ines of ourtime, all the way to ultimate success - she is THE PERFECT ROLEMODEL for young people unfolding their own Inner Hero/ine.Taylor is in high demand as speaker, and has excellent relations withschools, youth organizations and media. She has spoken at TEDx,major events, is used to meet with world leaders.

When wolves were re-introduced to Yellowstone NationalPark, they set into motion an incredible virtuous cycleof abundance boosting biodiversity from woods toflowers, birds, rabbits, eagles, beavers, bears andchanging the course of rivers. A matter of sensationalimportance, and youth respond very well to it!

The same has been found to be true for WHALES andsharks, which is of critical importance, since both aredriven to extinction through nonsensical finning andillegal whaling - but we can change this - and Taylorknows everything about it.
