2

When I was young, I’d listen to the radio, waiting for my favorite songs.

3

When they played I’d sing along. It made me smile.

4

Those were such happy times. And not so long ago. How I wondered where they’d gone.

5

But they’re back again, just like a long lost friend, all the songs I loved so well.

6

Every sha-la-la-la, every wo-o wo-o still shines.

7

Every shing-a-ling-a-ling that they’re startin’ to sing’s so fine.

8

When they get to the part where he’s breakin’ her heart, it can really make me cry.

9

Just like it before, it’s yesterday once more.

10

Lookin’ back on, how it was in years gone by.

11

And the good times that I had make today seem rather sad.

12

So much has changed. It was songs of love that I would sing to then.

13

And I’d memorize each word, those old melodies

14

Still sound so good to me as they melt the years away.

15Every sha-la-la-la, every wo-o wo-o still shines.

16Every shing-a-ling-a-ling that they’re startin’ to sing’s so fine.

17

All my best memories come back clearly to me. Some can even make me cry.

18Just like it before. It’s yesterday once more.

19

Every sha-la-la-la, every wo-o wo-o still shines.

20Every shing-a-ling-a-ling that they’re startin’ to sing’s so fine.

21

Every sha-la-la-la, every wo-o wo-o still shines.
