DAG NI 'CHI WAR GYUR PA'I D KYI TS'EAs to myself, not becoming attached to the appearances of this lifetime

TS'E 'DIR SHEN PA'I NANG WA MI 'GYUR SHINGwhen the time of death arrives,

SHING K'AM SHN DU 'PO WA'I DRN 'DN GYIas I clearly recall and decide with firm determination to transfer to some other pure realm,

L SEM DRL WA'I DUG NGL ME PAR SHOGmay there be no pain in the separation of body and mind.

DZOG RIM TING 'DZIN MI YO NGN GYUR NEand the profound meditative state of the completion phase perfectly manifest and unwavering,

ZUNG 'JUG DOR JE 'CHANG GI KUR SHENG TEtheir primordial unity arisen as the enlightened form of Vajradhara,

MA NOR LAM LA DAG GI DR PAR SHOGmay I proceed by unmistaken paths.

GL TE LE KYI 'KOR WAR 'KYAM SI NAIf it so happens that, because of my karma, I wander off, lost, into samsara,

NYL WA'I SA CH'OG YI 'ONG SHL YE K'ANG

let the regions of hell appear as a delightful mansion, NYL SUNG NAM KYANG NANG TONG LHA YI KUits guardians arise as divine embodiments of appearance emptiness

NAR ME DUG NGL DE WAR 'CHAR WAR SHOGand the sufferings and pain of the Hell with no Remission manifest as bliss.
