A master-thief of the hairy kind successfully pulled off the sting of a lifetime when they managed to run off with the entire contents of 4KD’s cake table last week.Following on from an extremely successful cake sale, raising funds for those affected by the typhoons that hit the Philippines in early October, the purchases had been left unguard-ed in Miss Dempster’s classroom whilst the class practiced for their assembly. When they returned from their practice, they were alarmed to find empty plates strewn across the floor and tables. Initially, the finger of suspicion was pointed at Mr Hudson although, when interviewed, he had a solid alibi and an identified witness came forward to say they had seen a hairy cake-thief (which also ruled out Mr Hudson!).Following on from this anonymous tip off, the canine cops were brought in to run a thorough investigation. “I had left my favourite cake until last”, said a distraught pupil, “we were really looking forward to eating them after our practice.”Henry and Jessie are currently co-operating fully with the puppy police. The case continues.
An artist’s impression of the culprit
One of the highlights of the autumn calendar took place on Thursday when children from across the school danced the night away at the Whitehill school disco.Glamourous and handsome pupils who had tickets to this sold out event invaded the school hall for an evening to remember. Music filled the corridors from current chart tunes to all the favourite toe-tapping classics, drinks and sweets were available as were the usual “highlight”, omnilight bracelets and necklaces. Many children also took advantage of the many wonderful nail bars, tat-too parlours and face painting that were also available on the night.A mark of a fantastic evening could be seen the next day when many of those who attended returned to school on Friday morning with tattoos from the night before still available for all to see on their faces!Lots of money was raised for the school.
ICT Club is run by Mrs Cooper. It first started in 2005. In the club, they do lots of activities like pivot and stop-frame animation.Recent projects have included a spindle picture display, halloween-inspired pictures and, of course, everbody’s favourite, the superb animations.Further details of all the really fascinating projects and
