2011This is my proposed Year Plan for AIESEC IIT Kharagpur’s Performance in the year 2011. The targets and timelines that I wish the LC to follow throughout the year are laid down in this document.

In this document I would like to discuss the Year Plan I wish to take
the Local Committee forward with in the year 2011. The document
will be divided into sections as follows:

believe the LC will function in the best possible manner. My plans are

Few comments I would like to make in advance:
Don’t judge the year plan for a Department by the number of
pages but by the Processes involved & Innovations.
Some Points which are common to many departments are
written only in One Department (e.g. Trainee Serving Issues,
Leadership Issues, Events)
I plan to have LCP Elections in the last week of November to
ensure proper Transition and matching with the National Cycle

AIESEC eXPerience UPGRADE Program for IIT Kharagpur
Students
FT going Students not under any program live an AIESEC
experience in their host country.
Program Fee 6000 /-
We use this Fee to pay the Hosting LC the recon fee of
their DT TN Raising
They Raise DT TN(2 months duration) on the name of the
Organization the student is visiting
We raise our EP and get it matched to the DT TN in the
country.
Student gets to get Airport Pickup, interaction with
AIESECers and involvement in AIESEC activities in the
Host country.
We get our OGX ReCon Fee from the Program and
depending on the Recon Fee of the Host country , some
profit as well

As a part of this program we need search for potential
partners and companies who want to promote Research
Based Projects in IIT Kharagpur along with Foreign
University Participation
Then we need to have partnership with AIESEC LC/ MC
from countries with good research oriented Universities
and ask them to raise EPs for the Internships.
The Selected students will be given full flight Travel/ Stay
Charges and their Realization Fees as a part of the
Program
The Program will happen during Summers May-July under
some professors of IIT Kharagpur and some students of
IIT Kharagpur selected by the Professors
There will also be workshops related to skill building,
about India and Research Topics (by the help of our
faculty) for the Incoming students in the Program
Cultural Activities also as a part of the Program
Aimed at Intense Leadership Experience for the Core OC
of this event and also to start new Exchange Model in India
and use our LC realities to the fullest
Research Fair at the End of the Program
Make IIT Kharagpur the Hub of Indian Global Research

employee in its own country.

sorted out with the trainees
Tell them the max number of forms we will be providing
them from which they have to select from so as to ensure

Once an Major event is finalized 50 % of LC Budget will be
locked for that event to ensure proper delivery of that
event and no further event will be planned till the Budget
Issues are solved
Investment on Membership and Budget allocation to all
departments (In an Ideal state: All ER Money should go for
current and future happening events & All Exchange Money
should be spend on Exchange Projects(40%) and Membership
Development (40%) rest goes into the Savings Account)
Security Balance of at least 60k for the LC to be maintained
throughout the year.
