Basic Information Regarding the Sacraments
Holy Eucharist We truly believe in the Body and Blood of Christ that was broken and shed for us! We ask that you be in good standings with the Lord as you join us for every Mass for Holy Eucharist. All are Welcome to
His table!! “Jesus said to them, ‘I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life … For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood
remains in me, and I in him … so the one who feeds on me will live because of me.’”

"The days are coming..." —Jeremiah 33:14
A new church year begins with the season of Advent. How can we start this Church year off on the right
foot? Human ventures begin with human efforts and plans. The Church, however, is led by Jesus, the Head
of the Church (Col 1:18), and so the Church is both human and divine (CCC 779). Therefore, God initiates
and we follow Him.
Here are some keys to the success of this Church year:
Will we vigilantly and patiently listen to the Lord each day for His “instructions”? (1 Thes 4:2)
Will we receive God’s plans in a spirit of docility and joyful submission?
Will we cooperate with God’s plans or block them through our resistance or by moving ahead without
Him?
Will we “learn to make still greater progress” in living for Jesus? (1 Thes 4:1)
Will we “conduct [ourselves] in a way pleasing to God”? (1 Thes 4:1)
Will we “be on guard lest [our] spirits become bloated with indulgence and drunkenness and worldly ca-
res”? (Lk 21:34)
Will we be “blameless and holy”? (1 Thes 3:13)
Lord’s plans for the Church and for us are far “more than we ask or imagine” (Eph 3:20). His “will be
done” (Mt 6:10).

Why Eve was created Top Ten Reasons Eve Was Created
10. God was worried that Adam would fre-
quently become lost in the garden because he
would not ask for directions.
9. God knew that one day Adam would require
someone to locate and hand him the remote.
8. God knew Adam would never go out and
buy himself a new fig leaf when his wore out
and would therefore need Eve to buy one for
him.
7. God knew Adam would never be able to
make a doctor's, dentist, or haircut appointment
for himself.
6. God knew Adam would never remember
which night to put the garbage on the curb.
5. God knew if the world was to be populated,
men would never be able to handle the pain
and discomfort of childbearing.
4. As the Keeper of the Garden, Adam would
never remember where he left his tools.
3. Apparently, Adam needed someone to
blame his troubles on when God caught him
hiding in the garden.
2. As the Bible says, It is not good for man to
be alone!
And the #1 reason why God created Eve...
1. When God finished the creation of Adam,
He stepped back, scratched his head, and said,
"I can do better than that!"

The "Cards of the Deck" is a social club that we are forming right now by taken person’s
information so we can plan a date for this group to meet. Anyone who is 50 years old or
older is welcome to join us. We play bingo, cards, games, and enjoy each others’ com-
pany. Our plan for this group is to meet with our first meeting as a business meeting fol-
lowed by bingo and then cards.
Then the second meeting we celebrate the birthdays of our members during that month and then play cards and so-
cialize. Then the third meeting we have a potluck where all the members bring a dish. After the potluck we play
cards and socialize. The fourth meeting will be a Mass and offer any prayers and then play games.
When there are five weeks in a month the Mass and prayers are scheduled for that day rather than the fourth Thurs-
day. If you are seeking companionship and want to meet new people, Please email the Parish Office if you would
like to be added to the list and be informed of all the dates and when this Ministry will start.

The Giving Tree
Share Christ’s love and bring smiles to
children and families for Christmas. We
have a number of families in our com-
munity who are unable to buy their child
a gift for Christmas. With your help, we
can make sure that each child receives
at least one gift.
Beginning Monday, December 3rd, I will
email a list of some children in Laurel, Montana that are in need of Christ-
mas. Please consider, adopting a child or children by emailing the parish
and letting us know which gender and age you would like then wrap the gift
and attached a tag with “Gender & Age” and give to Father M.J. to take to
Community Hope. Continue to pray and help another child throughout the
season of Advent up to Sunday, December 16th when all gifts will be deliv-
ered on that Monday.
We gather to understand our life and where God is calling us! Am I meant to be
a part of St. Maximilian Kolbe? Will this help me in my life, how can I share
about my faith with others?, family? Then this group will help you answer many
of those questions! If your unhappy with the parish you are with or unsure where
God wants you in His plan, please call or email us and allow us to help you.

Year of Faith Prayer
May this Year of Faith be a year
to help me appreciate the gift of
faith, deepen my relationship
with God, and strengthen my
commitment to sharing faith
with others.
May I recognize the face of
Christ in those who are
suffering, and help them
along the journey of life.
May I not grow lazy in the faith.
My I be enlightened in mind, and
heart by the word of the Lord.
May I be capable of opening the
hearts and minds of many to the
desire of God, and for true life,
life without end. Amen.
Pastor’s Notes
O Come, O Come, Emmanuel! Have you started to set up your Christmas décor, do you
have your Christmas Tree or Advent Wreath up yet? Its time for you to set that up, do for-
get get them blessed or ask your priest to have it blessed. Time is now for the preparing
for the Child of God. We need to think about the different times we are happy and why
were are celebrating Christmas with our family.
In the world today we deal with many different types of people and how they worship Our
Lord, one thing for sure is that many don’t understand the REAL meaning behind Christ-
mas nor do they celebrate it they way they should!! Its us Christians that can re-teach
them how to fully enjoy the fullness of the Season of Advent leading up to the Season of
Christmas.
When you are out in public this week, try to show a bit more kindness and love to those
you meet, and share a warm greeting…”Merry Christmas!”
JMJ, +M.J.
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God and inerrant in the original writings. We
believe that there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in the deity of our
Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed
blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and
glory.
We believe that the lost and sinful man must be saved, and that man's only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of
Jesus Christ, the Son of God. We believe in and practice the holy ordinance of water baptism, which signifies the believer's
death, burial, and resurrection into new life with Christ Jesus, and the regular celebration of Holy Communion as commanded
by our Lord.
We believe in the present ministry and baptism of the Holy Spirit. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the
unsaved; those that are saved into the resurrection of life and those that are unsaved into the resurrection of death.
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
