SEPTEMEBER.
The expectations are outlined below for TODAYS/SUMMER TASK:You should take 15 good quality photographs which are reflective of your theme.
We want to see your creativity in your approach.
You should aim to shoot a minimum of 3 different subject matters. (For example if
your theme is portraits your should have 3 different models).
Please use the guidance in this document to direct your creative approach to photography.

PHOTOGRAPHY COLLECTIONTODAYS TASK:
The aim of this PHOTOGRAPHY task is to produce a
collection of 15 photographs which reflect your GCSE
coursework theme. You are now going to focus on
your creative approach to angles, perspective and
subject matters.
You need to capture a minimum of 3 different
subjects, therefore you should have no more than 5
images of the same subject matter. Each image
should explore different angles, compositions and
perspectives.
To create the most successful series you should take
more photographs than required and then select the
most successful down into a collection of 15.
YOU SHOULD RETURN TO SCHOOL WITH ACCESS TO THESE IMAGES- YOU COULD
EMAIL THEM TO YOUR SCHOOL EMAIL OR SAVE THEM ONTO A MEMORY STICK.

PHOTOGRAPHY IS AN ART FORM OF IT’S OWN, IT HAS THE SAME VALUE AS A
PAINTING. THESE PHOTOGRAPHS WILL INFORM YOUR ENTIRE PROJECT.
EQUIPMENT- Camera, Smartphone Camera, Props, Filters and Models.
SUCCESS CRITERIA:✓ Ensure the props and models are suited/related to your project.
✓ Ensure you consider the background- does it suit your theme? Is it a distraction?
✓ Ensure you consider angles and perspectives.
✓ Consider your composition.
✓ Aim to use handmade filters and props to create interesting imagery.
