Year 8 Reggae Project Step 1 – Watch the Reggae youtube lesson I have created on the Fearnhill Music channel - LINK? Step 2 – Pick 2 of the following tasks from the menu below (you can do more if you wish!). You should only spend 2-3 hours on this (including watching the youtube lesson video), and you could do 1 hour per week (we would usually only have 1 hour of music a week). Pick two from: Option 1 – History of Reggae – read through the worksheet on the History of Reggae and answer the questions that follow it. As an extension, there is information about creating a poster. Option 2 – Bob Marley Biography – complete a poster about Reggae singer Bob Marley, with information about his life, pictures and explain why he is so important to Reggae Music. Option 3 – Listening activity sheet – Complete the attached Reggae listening activity. You will need access to youtube. Option 4 – Piano Reggae Piece – If you have a piano or keyboard at home, try to play the Reggae music sheet attached and record yourself playing to send to me (on audio only, no video – use voice notes or voice memo on your phone). *** Optional Listening Quiz! Step 1 – Watch the Reggae youtube lesson I have created on the Fearnhill Music channel - LINK?
