•Vincent Willem van Gogh (30 March 1853 – 29 July 1890) who was born in Groot- Zundert, a village that was close to Breda in the province of North Brabant in the Southern Netherlands.

•After working as a teacher, he became a missionary worker in a very poor mining region.

•Van Gogh came up with the idea of Expressionism.

•Vincent Willem Van Gogh was a Dutch Post-Impressionist artist.

•He had an enormous influence on 20th century art, especially on the Fauve and German Expressionists.

• Friedensreich Regentag Dunkelbunt Hundertwasser was born on December 15 1928 and died on 19th February 2000.

• He was an Austrian Painter, architect and sculptor.

• The common themes in his work were the use of bright colours, organic forms, reconciliation of humans with nature, and a strong individualism, rejecting straight lines.

• He called his theory of art "transautomatism", based on Surrealist automatism, but focusing on the experience of the viewer, rather than the artist.

• Hundertwasser is more widely known for his revolutionary architectural designs, which incorporate natural features of the landscape, and use of irregular forms in his building design.
