Year 7 Independent Learning Task Confidence, creativity, connectedness, capability and cooperation. Inventions and innovations are all around us, and so is the human race’s waste. Can these factors be linked and can waste be put to good use? Do you have the creativity to be part of the solution to waste? Your task is to produce a novelty festive decoration from recycled materials, and show where the materials came from and would go to (Do not use food in this task!) You need to:
1. Produce some written work saying where the materials came from showing how the materials used are connected to the World around us (not Powerpoint).
2. Make something which could be used as a festive decoration from recycling. 3. Be imaginative; make sure that your display is visually exciting!
In completing this task you will have very good evidence that you are not only a CREATIVE THINKER but will develop your skills as a SELF-MANAGER!
You must bring this finished work to school’s main reception on
Monday 3rd December 2018
What we are looking for: BRONZE: This work will be complete in all sections. Written work will be well-presented – there may be a booklet which fits well with the display work.
SILVER: This work will be very good in all sections. Creations will be of high quality. The project will look good and make you want to look at it.
GOLD: This work will have all the features above and will have something extra which sets it apart from the rest. A little bit of the jingle factor!
