School Info

Gravesend Grammar School is in Gravesend, Kent. It was founded in 1893. The head teacher is Mr. Wybar and the deputy heads are Mr. Rapley, Mrs. Kelly and Mr. Moaby. It’s a fantastic school. Especially Year 7. Being the first year, there’s a lot to look forward to during your time at GGS. The school have high expectations with uniform, behavior but most importantly academically.

Bullying

In order to avoid bullying don’t be stupid and also don’t try and be funny when everyone thinks you’re not because that’s what attracts bullies to make fun out of you. I know this as I’ve seen people get bullied. The second tip is just don’t be an idiot, it’s that simple.

Starting School

When I first started school at Year 7 I felt nervous just like everyone else. You will feel nervous but you just have to be calm about that as that happens when you join a new school. First impressions count so try to get to know everyone.

GGS is the best school in Kent. Firstly, it’s a grammar school so most of the smartest children go to this school as they passed their 11+ exam. The students are friendly (even the older ones) and teachers are vsry kind. The lessons are fun unlike other schools but we get to learn a lot as well.
