Factors

"Factors" are the numbers we can multiply together to get another number:

in 2x3=6,

2 and 3 are factors

2 and 3 are factors of 6

The numbers 1 and 6 would also be factors of 6 ( 1 x 6 = 6 )

A multiple is the result of multiplying a number by an integer

fractions

Subtracting fractions is similar to adding as you also need to make the denominators the same.

If the denominators are already the same, you just subtract the numerators.
