• ‘JobJump ‘ will be available soon – you will be notified when.
• You can register for this free service – information emailed directly to you. Parents can register too.
• Weekly regionalised TAFE courses and job vacancies; earnings across 300 careers; bonus points across all universities in NSW and their links; EAS information; alternative entry etc.
Guest speakers
• Guest speaker program will include talks after school early term 3.
• Expected speakers include:• UOW Early admission• Bluescope Steel• Defence Force• TAFE• Private Colleges• Etc. Registered students MUST attend

Defence Force etc• GAP year – work – volunteer – travel - lifestyle

Careers Interviews
• Every Year 12 student will be interviewed at least once this year.
• Informal interviews Recess 1 and 2• Brief interviews or urgent interviews need to
be booked.• Notice of this procedure to be given in term 2
University applications
• All students receive UAC Guide late July early August
• UAC applications open early August and close late September.
UOW
• Open Day 16th August• Early admission opens 1st August close 29th

• All Year 12 will be attending for one hour Wednesday 15th May.
• Make sure you are prepared to ask questions that are important to YOU!

• So called ‘soft skills’ like• Time management• Attitude• Willingness to learn. • Confidence• Communication skills• Self discipline etc• Can be the deciding factor in you getting a ‘go’!
