Adjectives:

All adjectives need to agree with a noun and so

have masculine and feminine forms as well as a

plural.

Key Grammar: Es vs Son vs Está vs Están

Both ‘es’ and ‘son’ come from the verb ‘ser’ (to be).

Es = It is (description)

Son = They are

In Spanish, there is also está/están (it is/they are) which is used for location/temporary state /condition. Eg:

La clase está en la primera planta y está bien equipada.

(The class is on the first floor and is well-equipped). – It won’t always be well-equipped!
