YEAR 12 QUOTES AFTER 8 WEEKS:
Muneeb: Maths / Biology/Chemistry & ICT
I am really enjoying the next stage of education at Eastbury and I’m glad I stayed here. I feel much more valued as a Sixth Form student compared to GCSEs and the lessons are much more engaging and enjoyable.
Saumiah:
Sociology/English Lit/Psychology & Creative Writing
I am enjoying the responsibility I’m facing this year and learning how to balance A-level commitments/pressures with being a Sixth Form Ambassador. I achieved two A's and a B in my first assessment so my dedication is paying off. Support from teachers is amazing.
Amita:
Photography/ICT/Sociology & Creative Writing.
I'm really enjoying my courses and fully embraced sixth form life. I was apprehensive of taking a subject that I hadn't previously taken at GCSE but have been reassured with excellent lessons and my recent assessment grades of two A's and a B is a reflection of good teaching and hard work.
Nibash: Maths/Physics/Sociology / AS Biology
A-Levels are a big jump from GCSEs and require a lot more independent learning. However, the subjects are more in depth which is very interesting – especially physics.
Mohammad & Hussain:
Level 3 Btec Engineering & EPQ
We love Engineering and studying it at Level 3 is more interesting and thorough. We chose a Btec course as we have good time management and prefer coursework assignments compared to exams. It’s hard but we know this school get the best results.
Mohammed:
Computer Science/3D Design / ICT & EPQ
Sixth Form has been an interesting experience so far. I am treated more as an adult and in control of my learning.
