Hello!!

On a weekly basis we will sent out a home learning bullet-in. This will detail an overview of each subject area and what work we are expecting the students to complete during the week. We will aim to send this out on a Sunday evening or a Monday morning in preparation for that week. We are also uploading links via our Facebook page, so please keep a look out for those!!!

Pupils to complete work set out for A Christmas Carol, Poetry, descriptive and non-fiction writing. This must be completed by the end of the week so it can be checked over by staff. Please visit SENECA LEARNING to complete quizzes on Poetry, A Christmas Carol and Macbeth.

History: Start to work through the tasks in your revision guides. Log in to historyhomework.com and complete the tasks that have been set by your teacher.

RE: Work through the work booklets you have, I will set questions next week for you to do.

Please submit on SIMS or via email.

Pupils to watch videos relating to current topics. Following this pupils should create notes or an information posters based on what they have learnt.

Music: Task 1: Use music lab to create a melodic and rhythm composition

Task 2:Use Ableton to create a ‘Music for Dance’ composition.

Task 3: Record a BeatBoxcomposition using Incredibox.

ICT – Complete Unit 1 revision as per their workbooks. They can self assess using past exam papers & mark schemes on the website.

GCSE – students have been given a paper copy of topic tests to complete and have also been set a find and fix exercise and a 9 mark exam question via SIMS engagement.

BTEC – Students have been given a Unit 1 revision booklet with many tasks to revise from and you parents will receive an email (should we have a correct email address for you) regarding which pieces of coursework you need to be completing. .

Pupils are to complete the home learning pack they were given. If they did not receive a hard copy it can be found on the SIMS app and the school website. There are 3 small packs in total based on different skills; reading, speaking and writing

Additional Work: There is also a Spanish language challenge to incorporate Spanish in to your everyday activities that you can keep ticking off, this can last for a number of weeks.
