Warm and cool colours
Draw or trace the outline of some large leaves. You could collect a few from outside to help you with this.
Add detail to the inside of the leaves.
Outline the leaves in black pencil or marker.
Use warm colours (red, orange and yellow) to colour the leaves.
Use cool colours (blue and green) to colour the background.
You may like to experiment with paint or crayons if you have these available.

Paper Chain challenge
Task: To create the longest paper chain using 1 sheet of A4 paper.
Think about which way you are going to cut the paper. Are your links- short or long? You will need a plan before you start. They have 30 minutes to create a chain.
1. Cut strips from the A4 Sheet
2. Take one strip and join the ends with glue, making a cylinder shape
3. Take the next strip, put it through your last link before joining the ends.
4. Measure your chain using a tape measure or ruler
