DIRECTOR’S DESK

It gives me immense pleasure to inform all that Shri Yashwantrao Bhonsale College of

Pharmacy has published its issue 3 newsletter, Pharmaphile

Our institution provides knowledge and skills to the students for the

betterment of the society at the global level. The students and staff must

involve in more and more scientific activities and research activities and this

will even encourage students to take keen interest in learning and updating

themselves with respect to the new trends coming in pharmaceutical field.

Knowing the global scenario of the pharma world is of utmost important so

as to keep the students’ versatile nature towards their carrier and set a goal to

achieve their target in no time. I would like to give warm wishes to the principal.

Dear readers it gives me an immense pleasure to pen few

words of gratitude towards our institution, through this

edition of pharmaphile. In four years of our work span in

the upbringing of this infant organization this newsletter is

playing an important role in featuring the Talent and hard

work done by our dear students and our staff members along

with support of our management team. I would like to

congratulate our staff and the students for successfully

releasing this third issue of pharmaphile.

Pharmacist day was celebrated on 25th of September 2018, wherein large

amount of participation by the students and staff of Yashwantrao Bhonsale

College of pharmacy was observed as well as the Pharmaphile newsletter

issue 2 was released and the pharmacist of the year was awarded to Mr.

Mhapsekar nominated by the Sindhudurg association of chemists and

druggists

‘’Euphoria’’ During 24th December – 29th December 2018,This event was coordinated by Ms. S. V. Shirodkar, Ms. P. C. Patle

& Ms. P. B. Yeram In this event Hon. Executive chairman Mr. Atchyut Sawant Bhonsale, Honorable Chairman Adv. Mrs.

Asmita Sawantbhonsale, Hon. secretary Mr. Sanjeev Desai, Hon. Mrs. Sunetra Phatak Administrative coordinator and the Guest

of Honor Hon. Dr. Rajeshkumar Gupta, Renowned surgeon from Sawantwadi Along with YBCP principal Dr. Vijay Jagtap and

YBDP principal Mr. Tushar Rukari were welcomed on the dais. This part of the comparing was done by Mr. Durgesh Bidye.

YBCP has organized its fourth Parent – Teachers Association (PTA)

Meet on 17th Nov. 2018 jointly with YBDP. On this occasion parents of

F. Y. B. Pharmacy and F. Y. D. Pharmacy students were invited

lightning of lamp were done by Hon. Executive Chairman Mr. Achyut

Sawantbhonsale, Principal Dr. Vijay Jagtap, YBCP, Mr. Tushar Rukari,

YBDP and Mr. Satyajit Sathe HOD - D. Pharm along with parent

representatives. Anchoring was done by Ms. Namita Bhonsale Hon. Mr.

Achyut Sawantbhonsale, and all Principals on their speeches

emphasized the importance, role and responsibilities of being a college

student’s parent. The session was concluded with vote of thanks by

Asst. Prof. Ms. Pranali Yeram. Ms. Kavita Chavan, coordinator PTA

took efforts for making program successful.

ORIENTATION PROGRAMME

Orientation programme was organized for the fresher’s for directly

admitted first years and second years on 14th August 2018, students

were introduced to Different rules of discipline, committees and their

portfolio, overall hierarchy of college administration and examination

assessment.

Kalam (15th Oct.) YBCP Library committee had

organized Celebration of Reading inspiration day .

Elocution competition was held amongst the

students of YBCP related to different social topics

.inauguration of the event was done by the hands of

Secretary of BKC Hon. Shri Sanjeev Desai sir, in the

presence of YBCP Principal Dr. Vijay Jagtap and

HOD D. Pharm Mr. Satyajeet Sathe inspired

students with their views. YBCP Librarian Mr. Amit

Lakhe and YBDP Librarian Mr. Pavaskar Along

SKILL DEVELOPMENT BY AZED

Glimpses of one day skill development programmed was organized

for B. Pharm and D. Pharm students by Honorable Mr. Zaki

Hussain on the interactive sessions viz. “Developing Analytical

thinking for corporate world and soft skill” and interview

techniques and related skills on 15th of December 2018.

Inauguration was done in the presence of Mr. Zaki Hussai,

founder- trainer- teacher, AZED consultancy with Principal Dr.

Vijay A. Jagtap, HOD Mr. Satyajeet Sathe, TPO head Mr. Sanket

Gandhi and Mr. Mayuresh Redkar. Anchoring of the programme

was done by Ms. Namita Bhosale.

industry experts “RENDEZVOUS 2018” on 19TH
