WHEN THE SYNERGY WITH SEATEC Within the next edition of Seatec, the International exhibition of technologies, subcontracting and design for boats, megayachts and ships, YARE will have a Pavilion dedicated to B2B meetings where companies will display products and services for superyacht aftersales and refi t operations. The goal is to exploit synergies and complementarity between the two off ers and to make the participation more productive both for exhibitors and visitors.

WHERE TUSCANITY Tuscany is one of the biggest and most important regions in Italy famous for its history, art, economy, culture, landscape and beauty. Thanks to its history and its strong cultural heritage, Tuscany has also got one the most attractive and unifi ed identity all over Italy.

Tuscany is universally known for its monuments and works of art in the famous towns of Florence, Pisa, Siena and Lucca. Less renowned, but not less abundant in monumental affl uence, are the towns of Arezzo, Carrara; well-known all over the world for their marble quarries, exploited even before the Roman Era; and Livorno (Leghorn) with its “fossi” (canals) crowded with boats, and its commercial harbour, the most important in the Region.

Tourism represents one of the principal assets of Tuscany off ering more than 12,000 diff erent lodging structures and has the national record of “agriturismi” (country farm lodging) with 4,000 structures. Over 40% of tourists visit Tuscany’s beaches with the Versilia and Viareggio areas being the most popular.

The boating industry is the primary activity in this area. Since the beginning of ‘800 the handicrafts from Viareggio were used to build small fi shing boats along the edges of Burlamacca Canal.

During that century and later in ‘900, primarily after the ‘60s, the boating industry became internationally renowned and transformed the city and the harbour into a capital of the industry.

Sun, sea, nature, history, art and culture are the ingredients that Tuscany can off er its visitors. Tuscany is a relaxing stay, but also a fun place to discover.
