learning objectives At the conclusion of this course, the participant will be able to:• Examine the latest developments in interventional therapies• Identify interventional therapies appropriate in particular clinical situations• Describe the latest image-guided therapies• Discuss the current and future research in interventional therapies• Identify new collaborative research opportunities in Interventional Radiology and

Interventional Oncology

Interventional Radiology and Interventional Oncology are approaches to care for patients who can benefit from minimally invasive image-guided therapies. Advancements in interventional care afford improved patient care, quality and overall outcomes. These new therapies are best served with a multidisciplinary team approach coordinated by a health care team of different specialties involved in the treatment. The development of multidisciplinary care teams has been shown to improve the outcome of patients.

This course satisfies the Lifelong Learning component by awarding category 1 CME credit hours for participation. The course will focus on three of the six MOC core competencies: medical knowledge, patient care and procedurals skills and practice-based learning and improvement.

The course will include a series of case presentations, discussions and interactive learnings focused on addressing the advanced minimally invasive image-guided therapies and multidisciplinary management.

learning objectives At the conclusion of this course, the participant will be able to:• Examine the latest developments in interventional therapies• Identify interventional therapies appropriate in particular clinical situations• Describe the latest image-guided therapies• Discuss the current and future research in interventional therapies• Identify new collaborative research opportunities in Interventional Radiology and
