    About Yajna

According to Sudha Murthy, chairperson of the Infosys Foundation,You spend 95 per cent of the time researching a project, includingits feasibility; 5 per cent on implementing it on the ground.

Yajna is an innovative event that attempts to address the need forimplementable solutions to pertinent social problems of the day. Itinvokes the collaboration of three significant forces that hold thepotential to shape social development in the country the dedicatedsocial organizations (NGOs), the responsible corporates and thecollective of bright students, future managers and leaders.

Students from across six cities - Bengaluru, Delhi, Kolkata, Lucknow,Mumbai and Pune will work with one NGO in their respective citieson a key problem faced by the NGO. The live problem shall presentan exciting challenge to the student and require him/her to employall his learnings to arrive at an implementable solution. The eventwill be financially supported by our CSR partner, Oil and Natural GasCorporation (ONGC).
