• Why do I care about content?
• Well, in the world of Web 2.0, you have to beadding fresh content all the time in order tokeep getting ranked, and ranked higher in thesearch engines.
• This means, adding new pages, new pictures,new videos, new blog entries, new tweets.

• This is why I have been giving these freeclasses on marketing your business on theweb.
• These new Web 2.0 sites are growing all thetime and more are being added everyday.
• But they all have one thing in common
You MUST add Content on a regularbasis!

• I don’t know about you, but I do not have thetime to keep adding and adding and addingand adding.
• I have a list of 117 Web 2.0 sites that I use if Iwant to take over a market for something.
• That is a LOT of content that needs to bewritten!

• The other way, if you don’t want to write isbacklinks.
• Backlinks are links from other websites in yoursame field that link to your website.
• The idea is that if others in your industry arelinking to you, then you must rate as someoneimportant.
• How do you get these?

• It allows you to gather content fromANYWHERE on the web
• ANY type of content
• And pull it into your website!

• Isn’t that RSS FEEDS??
• BOOOOOOO
• NOPE!
• Yahoo Pipes is like RSS feeds the way theyshould have been done!

• Yahoo Pipes allows you to take informationfrom anywhere on the web, any type ofinformation and deliver it to your website,web2.0 site, webpage, twitter, etc.
• But, BEST of all, it is just like Burger King!
• Delivered YOUR WAY!
• Meaning, you can filter out information, sliceand dice it and place it on your site, and it canlook different then the original information!

• Why is this important?
• Well, there is a HUGE debate on the webabout “duplicate content”
• This means if you just copy a store and put iton your website, or take a RSS feed and put iton your website, Google says “Hey, I’ve seenthat before! No ranking for you on this pagetoday!”

• But, with Yahoo Pipes, you can take that exactsame RSS feed.
• Filter it and slice it, and then put it on yourwebsite.
• And Google will see something similar, notduplicate! You could even do a bit more andmake it unique!

• Yahoo Pipes even has a search function foryou.
• This will let you search the hundreds of pipesalready created.
• You will be amazed at what you will find.
• And all it takes is for you to “Clone” a copy toyour pipes page!

Best use??
• That’s up to you, but here are my thoughts
• Create a Yahoo pipe for each long tail keywordthat you are focused on for your business.
• Feed this to each of your Web2.0 sites
• If you have a lot of Web2.0 sites, you should,then copy/clone each of the above feeds andmake a modification to each.
• Maybe number of posts, times, etc.
Making your Pipe Private
• Search on

• Clone that pipe and add it to the pipe youwant private.
• That’s it!

• Now by using this FREE service, you can havecontent on every one of your websites
• This can be updated all the time, or once a day
• It can be as unique as you want as well!
• You can even use it for Investigations! Bymonitoring and tracking people, brands orthings!
