100KM Maclehose Trail Map
• The 100-kilometre trail, soars through the highlands of the New Territories from the Sai Kung peninsula to the Tai Lam mountain range.
• The trail is divided into 10 stages and takes about 35 hours to complete.
• It is named after former governor, Sir Crawford Murray MacLehose the longest serving governor of Hong Kong, who established the Country Parks and was himself an enthusiastic hiker.

:Interesting FACTS
• Oxfam Trailwalker 2012 will be held between 16 and 18 November 2012 (Friday-Sunday)
• S49 Team, one of two teams from the Hong Kong
Garrison of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, was
the first to finish Oxfam Trailwalker 2011, taking only
12 hrs 22 min to complete the arduous 100km trail
from Sai Kung to Yuen Long.

•3,324 participants completed the 100km trail within the required 48 hours (74.9%). The event raised over HK$27 million.
•State Street Overcoming the Odds Award 2011 Winner, Fung Kam Hung, lost the lower part of his left leg 32 years ago in a traffic accident. Enduring the rainy and muddy weather and the many blisters between his shin and artificial limb, he completed the trail in 29 hours 28 minutes along with his teammates: 2 Orthopedists and a nurse – his wife.
