The CLE Institute of the New York County Lawyers’ Association is now an Accredited Service Provider of CLE in New JerseyThe New York County Lawyers’ Association (NYCLA) has historically been one of the largest and most influential county bar associations in the country. For over 100 years, NYCLA’s stature in the legal community has attracted prominent men and women to its programs, annual meetings, dinners, committee meetings, social events and forums.

NYCLA’s CLE Institute: Supporting attorneys in their profes-sional development is a priority at NYCLA. Indeed, for more than 30 years, NYCLA’s CLE Institute has provided high-quality continuing legal education courses for both the newly admitted attorney and the more experienced practitioner, making NYCLA one of the first bar associations in the nation to offer CLE programs. New programs are continually being developed to keep pace with the changing needs of the legal profession. Programs are offered at different times to fit the schedules of busy practitioners — during the evening, in the morning, and even on weekends. Courses run the gamut from updates on changes in the law, to skill building and profes-sional development, to advanced programs in specific practice areas. In addition, the CLE Institute has courses tailored to recent graduates, newly admitted attorneys or professionals seeking an overview of a particular area of the law. An unparalleled roster of experts from the bench, bar, government, academia and related disciplines teach the programs, offering their insights, knowledge, tactics and guidance to attendees.

Tuition Assistance: Tuition assistance is available by applica-tion, and will be extended to unemployed attorneys, employees in the public sector establishing financial need and other attorneys who can establish financial hardship. Attorneys who meet the criteria may be granted a credit toward the applicable course
