Early lifeNeil Armstrong was born in Wapakoneta, Ohio, America in 1930 on August the 5th. His father was called Steven Koeing Armstrong, and his mother was Viola Louise Engel. He went to Purde University and was a boy scout of America.

First Job

Neil’s first job was a test pilot of aeroplanes, and some fast land cars. He then became part of the U.S.A Navy. Then he began to study space and soon his courier took off into the galaxy! wired.com

The spacesuit was a very useful

piece of equipment. Without it,

astronauts would die. They needed

to be cooled, otherwise they would get very

hot.

The backpack contains oxygen

to breathe, because the

spacesuit is air tight, and

without it you would start to breath badly.

and buckled in for a bumpy
