Onsite Assignment – Mahle Behr USA, Charleston.

Worked to facilitate design of Engine Cooling Module and execute prototype release, prototype build and assist in design validation activities for Navistar trucks.

Oversaw engineering design targets to achieve balance among cost, quality and lead time by applying knowledge of Mahle Behr in-house engineering specifications, tools, materials, design standards, processes and development procedures.

Coordinated activities and maintained flow of communication with cross-functional team members of engineering, process, quality, validation, logistics, sales, marketing and manufacturing.

Tailored product to cater to the functional requirements and performance specifications of the customer.

Initiated Engineering Change Requests (ECR) for optimization in terms of performance, manufacturing, quality or cost.

Collaborated activities with customer and supplier – technical presentations, design review, design release, data exchange, inspection, negotiations etc.

Brainstormed using Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VA/VE) technique to provide solutions and accomplish results.
