tea, and to reduce the production of plastic containers, each participant will receive a commemorative jar of the Congress that can be re-utilized. During lunch hours, the USFQ has a dining room where you can purchase a full meal (Soup, main dish, and desert) for approximately 5 dollars. Additionally, around the campus there are several options of diverse type of restaurants and a food patio with a very diverse offer. The Congress materials include a map with the location of the different restaurant options, inside and outside the University. All lunches are responsibility of each participant. We recommend you to bring your own water container so as to reduce the use of disposable plastic bottles. The University has various points for refilling water containers, and each conference room will have water dispensers where you can refill your containers. Transportation to Quito: The city of Quito counts with the International Airport Mariscal Sucre (UIO) in Tababela (http://www.aeropuertoquito.aero/). The airport is approximately 60 minutes from the city of Quito, and 30 minutes from Cumbaya. For more information about transportation costs to and from the airport, please visit: http://www.aeropuertoquito.aero/es/transporte.html Transportation towards the University during the Congress: The organization of the Congress will have buses available for the participants and they will provide transportation to those who need to go from Quito to the USFQ in the morning and back in the evening. In the evening, both lines of buses will leave the campus at 20:00 hours to the same points of the morning departures. The buses will have the sign “XII CIMFAUNA 2016” in the front window, and the identifiers “Santitours Turismo” in the sides. There are also public buses from Quito that pass by the front of Universidad San Francisco. To get on these buses, you should reach the “Terminal de Buses a Tumbaco” located in Avenue Río Coca, and there you can take a bus that heads towards Cumbaya. The rate for the bus from Quito to Cumbaya is (25 cents of a dollar), and the buses circulate permanently from 06:00 up to 21:00 Hours. In case you need to take a taxi for transportation in the city of Quito, please use only the Yellow Taxis that are clearly identified with the name of a Cooperative, or Executive Taxis recommended by a hotel or someone you trust. The taxis in Quito are obligated to use a taximeter (during the day) and they should charge only the fee indicated in the meter. During the evening, the cost of transportation is a little bit more arbitrary, but no “standard” movement should cost over 10 dollars. If you need a taxi to reach the Campus of Universidad San Francisco from Quito, the drivers usually do not use the taximeter, and the typical rate is of 10 dollars during the day and from 10 to 15 in the evening. Places to visit: The offer for tourists in Quito and its surroundings is abundant and diverse. We recommend our visitors to at least go the Historic Center of Quito, which has been recognized as one of the best preserved historical centers of South America.
