What is Google Cloud Print™?

Google Cloud Print (GCP)

• Service that allows you to print from any web-connected device.

• Google Cloud Ready printers connect directly to the web and don’t require a PC to setup.

• You can connect using your Google Cloud Print account in seconds, and immediately start printing to it.

• GCP routes print jobs between your computer, smartphone, or tablet and sends it directly to your Google Cloud Ready printer.

• The service also allows users to easily discover printers and print from their own device without the need for complex setup or driver installation.

• GCP documents are transferred over a secure HTTPS web connection. After a job is completed, the associated document is deleted from Google servers.

Use GCP to print from any web-connected device, including:

• Chrome browser on Chrome OS devices and Windows/Mac/Linux computers

• Mobile versions of Google apps including Google Drive

• Gmail (via web browser on a mobile device)

• Chrome devices (Chromebooks and Chromeboxes)

• 3rd-party native mobile apps on all major desktop and smartphone platforms
