This innovative, customer-focused maintenance programme makes it easy for you to simply diagnose and quickly replace many basic routine items for the Xerox Nuvera® 100/120/144 EA Production System and Xerox Nuvera® 200/288 EA Perfecting Production System. Only trained operators repair or replace

A series of screens provide you with access to everything you need to maximise productivity. Replacement and diagnostic activities are password-protected, ensuring that only trained operators make replacements or perform repairs to your equipment.

Easy to track parts and inventoryThe Mode Indicator on the desktop unobtrusively monitors part status.

•The system will provide alerts that signal a part is near or at end of life and will need to be replaced.

•A second notification will appear when it’s time to replace the part and reorder it to replenish inventory.

You’ll find changing parts is easy with replacement wizard On the XPP Customer Parts Life screen, colour highlights indicate part status:

• Green indicates “Ok”

•Yellow indicates “almost due” and

•Red indicates the part is “due” and will need to be replaced soon.

An easy-to-use software wizard is associated with the replacement procedure for each part. The wizard’s step-by-step instructions are simple to follow and feature both pictures and text to help all operators effectively maintain the system.

XPP Basic is idealWith limited training, operators will find it simple to diagnose and replace Routine Service Items. XPP Basic’s unique Print Analysis Diagnostic Wizard and Part Replacement Wizard are designed specifically for non-technical operators to uncover potential problems before they arise. These wizards outline each activity, step by step, right at the graphic user interface of your Xerox Nuvera® EA to ensure worry-free maintenance.

Fault notification lets you respond quicklyYou can quickly eliminate any recurring fault conditions associated with several parts included in the XPP Basic Programme without the need for a service call, boosting your productivity. Once the part is in need of replacement, a new notification will appear on the screen as to the specific part that needs to be replaced. You can then easily proceed to replace it at your convenience.

If you choose not to participate in the XPP Basic Programme, this fault replacement condition will have no impact on your downtime or your productivity.

Manage your print quality with diagnostic wizardYou can maintain optimum print quality for even the most demanding applications with the Print Analysis Diagnostic Wizard. This easy-to-use, innovative tool represents a breakthrough in image quality diagnostics, offering performance compatible with advanced service engineering routines but with a front end designed for everyone.

Three major diagnostic routines yield answersYou will find three major diagnostic routines, or analyses, are integrated into the Print Analysis Diagnostic Wizard. They are offered to ensure an accurate diagnosis. They include:

1. Fusing analysis.

2. Signature defect analysis. Enables you to screen for a subset of possible causes of defects.

3. Xerographic analysis. Allows you to isolate wear or end-of-life failures on various components.

Choose XPP Advanced if you’re comfortable doing more XPP Advanced is best for customers with a high level of service skills. You will receive thorough training to learn how to diagnose and replace the Xerox Nuvera EA’s full set of replaceable parts. This includes all basic programme components plus using advanced diagnostic routines and detailed service manuals.

We provide the training you needIf you choose XPP Basic, there is no charge for tools and training. A Xerox XPP Coach will come to your work site and provide two to four hours of training, a complimentary tool set and password information to support two trained XPP Basic operators.

If you choose XPP Advanced, your first day of training will be XPP Basic at no charge and the second day of training for the XPP Advanced will be fee based.

Replacement

3 To install the Fuser Web Cassette, pull the Web handle shaft toward you until it stops. (Figure 6).

4 Align the yellow/black striped bars on the Web Cassette with the striped bars located on the Fuser Drawer Frame and insert the tabs on the Cassette into the left and right frame channels. (Figure 6).

5 Slide the cassette up into the channel under the Fuser until the Cassette tabs are at the end of the channels. (Figure 6).

Replacement

6 Seat the cassette by lifting the Web Handle Shaft up, towards you, then over the notches in the frame. (Figure 7).
