The Xactware Cloud lets you to access projects across multiple devices using Xactimate version 28 desktop, Xactimate mobile, and Xactimate online platforms. This guide will walk you through the basics of using the Xactware Cloud. Transfer a Claim from Desktop to the Cloud To upload claims stored in the Projects tab of Xactimate version 28 desktop to the Cloud, click on the claim and click the button. The data transfer window will open and transfer the file. When it is complete, click OK in the Transfer Complete window. Sending/Receiving Projects Via the Xactimate Cloud Xactimate Transfer Claims Between Xactimate Desktop and Xactimate Online Claims that are uploaded to the Cloud from Xactimate desktop can be accessed from any machine that is logged in to Xactimate online. Copies of the claims can also be checked-out and downloaded into Xactimate mobile or back into Xactimate version 28 desktop. After a claim has been uploaded to the Cloud it will be removed from the Local Projects tab in Desktop. Transfer a Claim from Desktop to the Cloud

To upload claims stored in the Projects tab of Xactimate version 28 desktop to the Cloud, click on the claim and click the button.

If the Local Projects or New Assignments screen is selected in Xactimate mobile, tap the Projects tab title to open additional options. In the additional options, tap Cloud Projects*.

*NOTE - For Android users: swipe left when viewing local projects to open the Cloud Projects.

A list of the projects stored on the Cloud appears. To download the desired claim, tap the for the desired claim.

The claim then downloads and populates on the Local Projects screen. The status of the claim on Xactimate online changes to Checked-Out while the claim is open in Xactimate mobile.

A claim that has been checked-out cannot be edited in Xactimate online until it has been returned to the Cloud. Instructions to return the file are included below.

A claim that has been downloaded to or created in Xactimate mobile can be uploaded to the Cloud, where it will be accessible in Xactimate online, by tapping the button on the Local Projects screen.

Transfer Claims Between Xactimate Online and Xactimate Mobile

Claims stored on the Cloud in Xactimate online can be downloaded to Xactimate mobile. Doing so will change the claim's status in Xactimate online to Checked-Out. Likewise, claims created in Xactimate mobile can be uploaded to the Cloud.

After a claim has been uploaded to the Cloud it will be removed from the Local Projects tab in Xactimate mobile.
