Functionality added in X50 version 1.0.3(Sort programs by name)

Summary

X50 system version 1.0.3 adds the ability to alphabeticallysort the programs and combinations in the category menu.

When you're selecting a program or combination by cate-gory, this makes it easier to find a specific program or com-

bination name, rather than having to look through all ofthe choices in numerical order as before.

Sorting the category menu alphabetically

This explanation illustrates how to browse through thecombinations in alphabetical order. (The procedure is thesame when selecting a program.)

1.

In Combination mode, press the [CATEGORY] key.The category menu will appear. This lists thecombinations in numerical order, just like the previoussystem version. However, now there will be anadditional "No." icon on the upper right side of the list.

(With this dialog box displayed) Press the [CATEGORY]

key.

The icon in the upper right side will change to "AZ,"and the combinations will now be sorted inalphabetical order.

As you can see in the example shown below,A000:StereophonicKeys has moved to number 026 onthe list, and is now located in alphabetical order

between B032:Soft Piano Pad and B048:Stream E.Piano.

Press the [CATEGORY] key once again to sort thecombinations in numerical order ("No."). The sortingorder will change each time you press the [CATEGORY]key.

The program name sort function is only available inthe category menu.

The first time you access the category menu afterturning on the power, the programs or combinations will

be sorted in numerical order.

Recherche alphabtique dans le menu decatgories

Cette section explique comment rechercher une Combina-tion par ordre alphabtique. (La procdure est la mmepour les Programs).

En mode Combination, appuyez sur la touche[CATEGORY].

Le menu de catgories apparat. Il affiche lesCombinations par ordre numrique, comme avec lesversions prcdentes. Il y a cependant une nouvelleicne No. dans le coin suprieur droit de la liste.

(Quand cette fentre est affiche) Actionnez la touche[CATEGORY].

Licne dans le coin suprieur droit affiche alors AZet les Combinations sont affiches par ordrealphabtique.

Comme vous pouvez le voir ci-dessous,A000:StereophonicKeys est devenu le numro 026 dela liste et est plac (par ordre alphabtique) entreB032:Soft Piano Pad et B048:Stream E.Piano.

Appuyez une fois de plus sur la touche [CATEGORY]pour trier les Combinations par ordre numrique(No.). Lordre de tri change chaque fois que vousappuyez sur la touche [CATEGORY].

Remarque: La fonction de tri par noms nest disponible quedans le menu de catgories.

Remarque: Lorsque vous affichez le menu de catgoriespour la premire fois aprs la mise sous tension, les Pro-grams/Combinations sont affichs par ordre numrique.

Die Systemversion 1.0.3 des X50 bietet eine Funktion, mitder man die Programs und Combinations im Kategorie-

Men in alphabetischer Reihenfolge anzeigen kann.Das erleichtert oftmals die Auswahl des gewnschten Pro-grams bzw. der Combination, weil man genau wei, woman suchen muss, statt sich die Adresse zu merken.

Alphabetische Sortierung des Kategoriemens

Hier erfahren Sie, wie man Combinations alphabetisch sor-tiert. (Die Arbeitsweise ist die gleiche wie bei Anwahl einesPrograms.)

Wechseln Sie in den Combination-Modus und drcken

Sie den [CATEGORY]-Taster.Es erscheint das Kategoriemen. Die Combinationswerden zunchst in numerischer Reihenfolge angezeigt(wie bei lteren Systemversionen). Oben rechts nebender Liste gibt es jetzt aber ein zustzliches No.-Symbol.

(Solange dieses Dialogfenster angezeigt wird) DrckenSie den [CATEGORY]-Taster.

Das Symbol oben rechts heit jetzt AZ und dieCombinations werden in alphabetischer Reihenfolgeangezeigt.

Im Beispiel unten sehen Sie, dass sichA000:StereophonicKeys jetzt an 026. Stelle zwischenB032:Soft Piano Pad und B048:Stream E.Piano

befindet.

Drcken Sie den [CATEGORY]-Taster erneut, um dieNamen wieder in numerischer Reihenfolge (No.)anzuzeigen. Bei wiederholtem Drcken des[CATEGORY]-Tasters ndert sich also jeweils dieAnzeigereihenfolge.
