OVERVIEW

Established in 1986, Metalman Auto Pvt. Ltd. is engaged in manufacturing of Sheet metal, Tubular and Light & Heavy Fabricated Assemblies, Sub-Assemblies, Parts with all types of Surface Treatments in-house such as Ni-Cr, Zn-Ni Plating, Powder Coating, Spray Painting, ACED/KTL Painting etc.

Metalman is an ISO- TS 16949/ ISO- 14001/ OHSAS 18001:2007 certified company catering to Automotive Sector as Tier 1 and Tier 2.

From one plant in 1986 Metalman has grown to establish 7 plants at various locations with addition of 2 sister concern auto-parts manufacturing units along with a JV.

Metalman Auto has over 2500 employees across all Indian plants which includes more than 250 engineers.

1. Metalman Auto uses conventional as well as the modern techniques of machining.2. It has in conventional machining drilling, lathe, broaching, SPM’s, Turning centers,

milling, grinding, radial drilling machine etc. of various capacities as per the requirement.

3. In modern machining technologies we use wire cut for the die tool parts machining.

WELDING

1. Metalman Auto uses the MIG/ MAG welding process for its welding and fabrication requirements. We also use the welding robots for the same.

2. Metalman Auto has nearly 65 welding robots and around 200 MIG / MAG welding sets and 100 plus In-house made Welding SPM.

3. Welding robots are 6-Axis, welding reach up to 2000 mm, and rated duty cycle 100% at up to 400 Amperes.


STAMPING

Presses: Metalman Auto has mechanical as well as hydraulic Presses ranging from 30 Tons to 500 Tons.

Dies/Tools: Metalman Auto has in all plants in-house tool room design centers.

WALUJ- METALMAN UNIT-I

• Apart from chassis of two wheelers, lot many components are being manufactured for various other automotive companies.

• We are member of Automotive Components Manufacturers Association Of India and Our Metalman Auto's Aurangabad plant is Registered under UNIDO Program for TPM (Total Productivity Management).

• The company efficiently meets the requirements of its O.E.M customers, this plant is currently catering to the second largest manufacturer of motorcycles for the production of motorcycle chassis and delivery the same on just in time basis.

• The unit specializes in all sorts of Sheet Metal and Tubular Fabrication.

WALUJ- METALMAN UNIT-II

Metalman Auto Unit II, also known as B17 plant came into operations in July, 2011. This plant is catering to the requirement of three wheeler body parts of Bajaj Auto such as Wind Shield, Doors, Floor Board, Cabin Roof, and Cabin Back along with the stamping parts for the Two Wheeler Chassis and Seat Recliner Assly., etc.

PITHAMPUR- AUTOMAN•Established in 1996 at Pithampur under the ownership of Metalman Auto Pvt. Ltd.

•This unit was initially started specially for catering the requirements of Kinetic Honda Motor Company Ltd. and also had catered for complete chassis, handles and other sheet metal and tubular parts to Mahindra and Mahindra 2-Wheelers.

•Manufacturing different sheet metal & tubular components like accelerator assembly, foot board, gear shifter etc. for Volvo-Eicher & Force Motors for their LCV, MCV & HCV’s.

•We have well established Tool Room for manufacturing and maintenance of Dies, Press, Tools, Jigs and Fixtures. We also have committed ancillaries for supply of our BOP requirements.

METALMAN (PITHAMPUR)

•This Facility was Established initially to manufacture sheet metal and tubular components for Kinetic Honda Motor Company Ltd. The first plant in Pithampur incorporated in 1986 and started production in 1989.

•In 2006 Company expanded to cater requirements of Heavy Fabricated parts for Case New Holland (Construction, Equip. Manufacturers, such as Backhoe Loader etc.)

•The company efficiently meets the requirements of its O.E.M customers, this plant specializes in all sorts of Sheet Metal and Tubular and heavy Fabrication.

METALMAN MICRO TURNERS

•The company is a JV between Metalman Auto & Micro Turners and efficiently meets the requirements of its O.E.M customers. The unit specializes in all sorts of Sheet Metal and Tubular Fabrication.

•Apart from chassis of two wheelers, Mufflers, Seating frames (For Bolero) and a lot many components are being manufactured for various other automotive companies.

•Our Metalman Micro Turners – Pantnagar plant is Registered under UNIDO Program for TPM (Total Productivity Management).
