What is an architecture?
IEEE (P1471): A architecture describes the consistency between the components and there relations with the surrounding and the principles describes the design.

Examples of the principles
• An individual owns there e-portfolio data. • An e-portfolio has to support the use in more than one
domain.• An e-portfolio has to refer to sources outside itself. • An e-portfolio tool needs a import and export function.
