• IaaS is infrastructure consumed and made use of in a multi-tenant format. Metered use, with finite set resources of hosted virtual images.
• Examples:– Amazon Web Services– Microsoft Azure VM Role (Runs on Azure PaaS)

• PaaS is a true platform, with sets of services for relational data / object storage, software runtime and channel / end point connections. Can be multi-tenant or isolated-tenant modes.
