2016 MISS-ter Relay Contestants
What is Look Good, Feel Better? The Look Good Feel Better program is a non-medical, brand neutral public service program the teaches beauty techniques to cancer patients to help them manage the appearance-related effects of cancer treatment. Look Good Feel Better is dedicated to improving the self-esteem and quality of life of people undergoing treatment for cancer through complimentary group, individual and self-help beauty sessions that create a sense of support, confidence, courage, and community. What is MISS-ter Relay? The MISS-ter Relay Pageant was first started to raise awareness for the Look Good Feel Better Program. Teams choose one gentleman to dress in his feminine finest. The contest are presented onstage for a short Q&A. Contestants are then given 30 minutes to walk the track and raise donations. The contestant who raises the most is crowned MISS-ter Relay! Rules:
Cash donations only, Checks, money orders, or FUNdraising app donations will not count towards overall total.
Donations must be solicited from the track. Teams are NOT permitted to use their campsite money in the money raised for MISS-ter Relay.
Teams are credited with the money raised during the MISS-ter Relay pageant.

What is Road to Recovery? The American Cancer Society Road To Recovery program provides transportation to and from treatment for people with cancer who do not have a ride or are unable to drive themselves. Volunteer drivers donate their time and the use of their cars so that patients can receive the life-saving treatments they need. If you or your loved one needs a ride to treatment, call the American Cancer Society at 1-800-227-2345 to be matched with a volunteer, or search online for programs in your area. What is Race to Recovery? Race to Recovery is a cardboard box decorating contest to raise awareness for the Road to Recovery program. Teams turn cardboard boxes into themed cars for display around track. Surprises are in store for the most unique creations! Rules:
Cars must have a cardboard box base.
Each car should be able to accommodate two people: driver and passenger.
Cars are NOT permitted to be motorized. Foot power only please!
