The Australian Building Control Board (ABCB) produces the Building Code of Australia (BCA).
Standards get their legal authority from being referenced in:
⁃ the BCA or⁃ the construction contract
NASH Standard Residential and Low-rise Steel Framing Part 1: Design Criteria
NASH Standard Part 1 referenced in BCA since 2006.
The NASH Standard has legally the same status as an Australian Standard.
Mainly aimed at engineers but gives tolerances for manufacture and installation
