*WWRS continues to help the Waukesha County Food Pantry with food pick-up-and delivery to those in need.
*WWRS was privileged to be able to attend the 6th
Annual “State of Milwaukee” Symposium. The featured
speaker was Urban Activist and author Robert Lupton. Over 400 people were in attendance and I was able to
network with other Christian leaders and develop possible partnerships.
*We attended the monthly “Christian Businessman’s Luncheon” in downtown Milwaukee. We continue to involve our station in local networking opportunities to enable us to spread the Gospel. Pictured above is the Milwaukee Rescue Mission where we volunteered our time cleaning and organizing linens.
*Went off the air for planned power outage during normal early Monday maintenance time slot.Alliant Energy replaced center phase connector that was shown to be bad with thermo imagingcamera. Transmitter seems to be running smoother since replacement of center phase connector.*Filed NOTAM with FAA due to above power outage. Canceled NOTAM with FAA two hours later.
*Performed Studio camera/pedestal maintenance.*Sent EAS codec in for factory servicing and upgrade. Reinstalled EAS codec and adjusted receiver levels and tested unit.*Volunteered at Waukesha Food Pantry for morning shift.*Filled LP tank at TVX site.*Checked that proper snow plowing was being done a TVX site.*Noted that WMDC-FM made improvements to transmission line support from transmitter to their tower at TVX site.
*Backed up cell phone pictures of WWRS-TV to transmitter computer.
